Staff are lovely and they’ve got outdoor seating when the weather is lovely. Great ambiance inside as well, I love seeing all of the boilers. They’ve got a great selection of beers that they craft in house. 10/10 spot, you will not regret dining here!

Here, not surprisingly, tradition reigns supreme: ales, lagers, pilsners, kolschs, reds, and stouts dominate the board, with a peppering of IPAs and sours. The George has a comprehensive selection of 15 beers on tap making it an excellent location for a day out. The sours, "Dawg Dayz of Sours", and "Razbiscus" were wonderfully tart, yet balanced. The Raz., especially brought to mind a sour cream soda from childhood. The excellence of the sours is indicative of the care and attention that is paid to the craft of each of these beers. Enjoy your time visiting his majesty, and communing with his spirit.
T	TK on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my first experience at the George recently and I did read some reviews prior and it seems some things have improved. For one, although the kitchen is closed we were told we could bring in food from another spot, and we were offered pretzels and beer nuts. The pretzels were good and the mustard that is made in house was really good. As for the beer...well this is a craft brewery, and like all craft breweries not every beer is a hit or even good. That goes for some of the very best established breweries you go to. What makes this a 5 star joint like some of the other places I love is the honesty and knowledge of the staff. The staff was honest about what was great and what was mediocre, and what is even more important than that was the product knowledge. Beers were described perfectly, our server matched our personal preferences to great beers on the menu, and lined our flights up in the proper order so not to ruin any flavours. I would recommend if you like craft beer coming here. I ended up leaving with a couple favourites from the bottle shop, not something that always happens when leaving a brewery.

I highly recommend the Beef dip sandwich, and the fries are crisp, double fried and lightly seasoned. Wide variety menu all paired with in house brew match up suggestions.

With its high ceilings you can see the kegs above surrounded by industrial decor. During the summer they have a lovely patio in the front and back. The food is delicious and the pints are even better. Overall good vibes and good customer service.
