We are ecstatic to announce the launch of our new community initiative – the Medicine Hat Brewing Company Cheers! Program.
Our community is important to us. We are named after the awesome City of Medicine Hat, Alberta, and we want to continue supporting it as best we can. This is where we live, we work and we play – that means we also need to give back. This program will send a big, supportive Cheers! to organizations that are working hard and doing great things.
Each month, we will choose one registered charity or organization to Cheers! through proceeds from food features, cask night specials, or other designated Medicine Hat Brewing Company sales which we will announce on our social media pages.

The atmosphere is a nice mixture of classy and casual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were visiting from Edmonton this past weekend and stopped in at the MH Brewing Company for lunch. This was our last stop and the best experience we had this weekend. Service was great. Food was excellent. Their fish and chip was delicious. Good portion and the batter is perfect; crispy and light so we tasted the fish not the batter. The tartar sauce was also a good complement. We also had the fish taco, which was also tasty. My husband is a craft beer guy and found a variety he liked on tap. Overall, excellent experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I been to 65 craft brewery around the world i the last 4 years and this is now one of my favorite! Very frendly staff awesome bistro and restaurant and the beer... man is it so tasty! I really like their selection. Im more of a fruity, sour, and gose kinda drinker and that place have them all. Lot of other kind that i really enjoyed as well. I was i would live near by. I will be back for sure! Keep up the good work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking for good beers AND good food, you have to check out MH Brewing. We ended up eating here twice during our weekend stay due to the overall quality of food, drinks, and service!
I had a flight and every beer I tasted I would drink again. The prickly pear sour and pineapple sour are fantastic!
As for the food, the pretzels are made perfectly and served with a delicious Gruyère beer cheese sauce, which I probably could just eat with a spoon. The poutine is good value for money (SO many curds) and the steak sandwich is awesome, but give the bacon and egg sandwich a miss as it’s served with *way* too much grainy mustard on it that it overpowers everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four years between visits, and .H Brewing just gets better and better! The repertoire of quality craft beers continues to grow, with Industrial Ave IPA and their new Imperial West Coast IPA possibly the happiest brews I've ever tasted!
The Winter Warmer is a beautiful, tasty, and refreshing Seasonal - a tribute to the Brewmeister and their team.
With live music, a varied and satisfying food menu, and upbeat staff, MH Brewing is a definite 'Must Vist' locale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, this is an absolute gem. Must visit in Medicine Hat. This microbrewery not only has excellent beer, but also has one of the best kitchens of any microbrewery I have ever been too. Better than any microbrewery in Sask with these two features combined or, to be honest, any brewery I've visited in Ontario or Quebec. Must visit. Jenny and Shelby provided excellent service as well!
