B	Braveen Ravi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Gates Medical Center was a little different. My wife and I went to the center to get our COVID booster on Friday Jan 7th. We booked the appointment last minute because 1. we noticed that at the time individuals under 29 years old were qualified for Pfizer and 2. it was close to home. After waiting in the cold in the line for 30 mins, we were let in. We got to the front and the nurse with purple hair who was giving our shot was very rude. She refused to give us the pfizer as she said that the government has changed their rule to individuals under 25 years old which is not true. My pregnant wife advised the individual that she is an educator and is 15 weeks pregnant and can't mix the vaccine as per OB but was shut down rudely by this individual. She was not understanding at all and didn't provide any solution or assistance, rather than putting my wife down. Mind you, my wife has pfizer the two shots. I understand this time of year is crazy with high volumes and demands for booster shots, but the customer service for this one individual can be improved. We left the clinic with no booster shot and had to drive to New Market to get a booster shot. Furthermore, If you are going for your booster shot, be prepared to wait outside and dress warm.
B	Ben Solomons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This clinic is poorly organized. Despite having an appointment you’re required to wait outside to get in, and during the cold winter months this isn’t feasible. Furthermore they will likely take your health card from you and bring it inside in an effort to move things faster. While it seems like a good idea, this puts peoples personal information at risk of being exposed to others. Lastly, they have no signage to indicate what vaccine you’ll be getting, or any sort of advance email notice. So if your preference is to get Pfizer/Moderna you won’t find out which one it will be until you get there. I recommend choosing another clinic if you still have a choice

Staff were great with my nervous daughter. It was fast and friendly. They had a movie playing for kids and a treat for after the shot. We’re feeling very grateful for such a great experience! Thank you.

I have also referred a number of friends and family in the area and they have all had a positive, efficient experience. Great work everyone!

The two young nurses were so kind, relaxed and my vaccinator was so gentle. To the three ladies here the morning of Jan26/22, thank you again!!! I will be recommending to my friends, family and customers. I also loved the affirmations and kindness messages around, we need more of this energy in our community. Thank you!!

It was cold but I was smart enough to bring a jacket and enough layers. Having said that, the wait was understandable since once inside, all nurses were busy vaccinating people and there was a capacity limit in place. Upon entering the clinic, I had my vaccine within a few minutes. I am very happy with my experience! Most of the people complaining about the wait and lack of specific vaccines sound entitled to me . . . things are always changing last minute and the staff is trying their best to make the vaccination process as smooth as possible given the circumstances. Don't forget to be kind!

We walked in together at 10:35am, were greeted by a gentlemen who told us which seats to take, were administered our booster shots by friendly, competent staff, and were done in about 8 minutes. We have had no problems with previous shots so we were allowed to leave right away. The car was still warm! Such a good experience. Thank you!

The Gates Medical Centre is very well organized and the clinic is neat & clean. Our family really appreciated everything the staff are doing for us during this difficult time. Big shout to the RN Nicole who did our shots, she was very friendly, efficient and professional. My daughter was very nervous about the covid vaccine, but it turned out she had a great positive experiences. Great work everyone!
