★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly service, spacious but cozy pub-like interior, with adorable pictures and artwork featuring foxes. Large and varied menu, it has something for everyone! The French onion soup, mussels and the yorkie bowl are terrific!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner with a friend of mine on Friday March 11, 2022 and loved my experience. Have lived in Pickering for a thousand years and it was only my second time dining at this Pub. I was so impressed! Wine list was fabulous and very reasonably priced. Food was terrific, I had the mussels and they were out of this world. Our server, Allison was outstanding. Place was busy, very welcoming. My weekly default is Jack Astor's; however, no longer. I was dubious about ordering mussels in a pub but Allison told me they were purchased fresh daily and even told me where. Give The Fox Goes Free a visit, they will not disappoint.
