Never before have I wanted every single item on a restaurant menu - making choosing one entrΓ©e very challenging! The sunflower seed crusted Rainbow Trout was one of the best dishes I've ever had, the curry/sweet potato hummus dip was a superb starter & the atmosphere was so so cool. I cannot wait to return for my next culinary exploration here!

Valentine's dinner 2019 was awesome! Especially the Tuna Tataki-hemp seed-crusred Ahi tuna loin on a crisp, Asian vegetable salad with wabsabi, and a citrus, ginger and soy sauce. Love love love this place and I am a very discerning.

We had a blast at this place, food was very tasty and well made, they offered us samples to taste the food before ordering which was very helpful. The staff are extremely friendly & make great conversations with guests. They have vegan main course options, I just wish they would add a vegan dessert option as well, it’s something the manager said they are working on.

We were in Midland overnight and totally lucked out in making a reservation here. The decor and atmosphere is fun and creative from the ceiling (6 foot wooden shark hanging from the ceiling to wine cork relief maps of the continents) to many found objects from the couple’s work and travels abroad. The wine selection is extensive and from around the world housed in a beautiful wine cellar with glass window. And the food! - fresh, inventive and something for everyone. (Unfortunately we were two nights too early for the popular monthly prix fixed Argentinian themed tapas menu.) Lucky Midland to have this couple settle in your town. Toronto could use one (or more) of these unique places! When I travel around Ontario, this is the type of place I love to β€˜discover’! Note, the restaurant is not directly on King Street, but down a little lane way across from the commanding romanesque Midland library.

What a gem this restaurant is! Located somewhat hidden away from King St in Midland, it's definitely worth a visit. The innovative food and presentation was wonderful. Many wine choices from very reasonable to very high end. I had the Singapore noodles with shrimp, just fantastic. I will be back and will share this place with everyone I know. The creme Brule was very good, btw.
