I was looking for a pair of ballet slippers but I was contemplating between two sizes so I asked if other customers usually sized up or down. The worker there just said "whatever fits". Thank you. That was very informative.. The person "helping" me was not helpful whatsoever. Good selection but poor customer service.

I've been giving this place a chance, but every time I come here I'm disappointed by the sloppy product selection and regrettable customer service. The Lower Mainland doesn't have any good dancewear stores. Your options range from bad to worse; buy online whenever possible and don't waste your hard-earned money.

Revised: Someone called me today and someone will deliver the right pair at my home. Thank you so much! I went to this store to buy my daughter a ballet shoes and leotard today... I asked for size 7. When i got home i got 2 different sizes.. I drove 2.5 hours (back & forth) just to buy this!!!! I should have double checked too but they were in a package so i just trusted the staff that handed me the ballet shoes. I think it's only fair to compensate my time and gas for this. My daughter needs this on wednesday and i really don't have the time to do this!!!?

Wow I was quite surprised how efficient, and knowledgeable the staff were. They genuinely cared and not just about pushing add-ons or making a sell. Personally when staff use aggressive sales tactics I buy less. So guess what happened I drifted around the store as my better half tried on everything in the store. She was happy,I was happy. Thank you dance shop and staff.

Very poor customer service. The one who helped us on the ballet shoes and the tap shoes had so much attitude and not very welcoming at all. If the shop was very busy at that time, I understand her stress but when we were there, we were the only customer in the shop and there are 3 staffs there. So she was not busy at all. Yet she is very impolite. I asked why the price marked on the tag and the price ringed up from the computer is different. Her reply was very rude. She said with an annoying look that the price tag is outdated. As a customer, I think I am very legitimate to ask about this as I think the shop is fooling people to buy with a cheaper price tag displayed. She didn't give us a single apology on behalf of the shop, but instead replied very rude just want us to leave. "Price tag outdated" to me it means she is not doing her job diligently to keep things under controlled in the shop. At the end, a more senior staff helped us to refund and re-purchase the shoes based on the price tag. However, the whole shopping experience was very unpleasant, unfriendly and unprofessional.

I needed tap shoes for my child and the service was really great. We tried on a number of shoes and they didn't rush us or anything. Would come back here again.

Excellent quality products and exceptional customer service, we order online and April always helps us with all of our questions. If something is out of stock, we are notified when the item is back in stock. Highly recommend both the fine products and phenomenal service.

Last week, the same day of daughter's first ballet class for the Spring term, we discovered that her ballet slippers and ballet skirt didn't fit anymore. I called the Dance Shop to see if they had what we were looking for, and then found out that they were about to close in 15 minutes. I spoke to April who was so kind and offered to wait for us to arrive before closing up so that we could get my daughter her shoes and skirt. When we arrived, April was wonderful and even though it was store closing time, she took the extra time to ensure the ballet slippers my daughter purchased was the right fit (she ended up finding us a more narrow fit that was much better for her). I just assumed, due to the excellent customer service, that April owned the shop, but found out that she isn't the owner, which makes her gesture to wait past closing for us, even more impressive. Thank you!
