They do so many amazing things for the community and work to help every individual that comes to them, be it connecting them to one of their programs or connecting them to another non-profit. They have such a huge reach and impact in the Greater Victoria community--Victoria definitely wouldn't be the place it is now if they weren't here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent opportunity for people to volunteer. The Cridge offers such a wide range of services to families, and what I have seen of the day activity centre for seniors left me so happy: caring and creative staff, rec leaders going out of their way to bring stimulating and interesting activities for their group. If you can't volunteer, consider donating! Their shelter staff is also tremendous.

Whether it's the daycare or the housing the staff are knowledgeable and kind.
The housing is beautiful, and for clients who need privacy and security thier supportive housing is a safe haven where people look out for each other.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The manager of Children's Services has a duplicitous nature! Says things and pretends it was a miscommunication or misunderstanding when caught. There were three occasions where she flat-out lied. She threw a few staffers under the bus. So I would not put it past her to do the same when speaking to the staff about parents. Not sure how they keep staff at this establishment. Poor leadership! Good luck if you choose this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great outreach...COVID has made things very challenging. Seniors food could be more heart smart...that needs improvement but it is difficult for staff at this time...they work so very hard with these restrictions. I take my hat off to them..they are doing a good job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give it a 0 stars I would, very unprofessional staff and obviously not trained properly. Not a place for a child if they aren’t 100%perfect or easy to maintain. Honestly wish it would have been a better experience for my child.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While it may be a fantastic center for the everyday occasionally difficult children, if your child has behavior or temper issues as most pandemic kids seems to have perhaps consider your options. Was not the place for mine. Regret my decision to enroll him here greatly.
The time here has resulted in a net worsening of the behavior and a really negative experience for everyone involved. Do not recommend for children when behavior accommodation needs they do not have the staffing or training to properly manage it.
