The Clever Cupcakes

Blown away by the cupcakes and the customer service! Hadn’t been in over 4 years (they since switched ownership). They are so accommodating of allergies and their product is so well put together and delicious. I will be coming back for more!!

Bought some Clever Cupcakes for "research." It was amazing.... Did not feel guilty eating them, weren't heavy or too sweet. They probably extend your life expectancy. Will definitely return again for more!!

The service I received was great! However the cupcakes were subpar. We ordered 26 cupcakes for my daughters 2nd birthday and we all felt that the cupcakes were dry and the flavours were barely noticeable.

Customer service (Amanda and Jessica) - by far is five stars. The ladies here are incredibly kind, considerate, compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. I hate making the rating anything less than five, so know that the three stars is based on taste alone. I ordered mini cupcakes, one of every flavor, as I am planning a large family reunion and shopping around local bakeries to see where I would like to place the final and large order at. And again... I tried EVERY flavor on their menu. So I got a good range. The quality is good, the customer service is excellent, the flavor? Very faint, you can barely tell what it is. Even for types that should be stronger in flavor (like carrot cake, chocolate, chocolate mint, etc.); it is very hard to tell what the flavor is supposed to be because it's just not distinguishable. It's not like it tasted bad or too sweet or not sweet enough, it's just that you can't taste any flavor or flavor potency. And I'm a total foodie! I'm really disappointed, because if this wasn't an issue, I'd be giving them the large order just because of their customer service (without even trying other bakeries yet). I'm fully aware that they use less sugar in their ingredients and more natural, healthy ingredients. But that doesn't negate the fact that their flavors just aren't there... it's really bland. You can make healthy cupcakes with distinct flavors, I've done it countless times and I'm just a hobby baker. I have family who are vegan and celiacs and are able to make healthy cupcakes with healthy ingredients but actually have flavor. I'm really sad to rate this three stars, but know that it is for the flavors/taste alone, not anything else.

We ordered cupcakes as wedding favours for our June 2021 wedding and they were tasty and a huge hit! The ordering process was smooth and easy. They also catered to the dietary needs our guests had. Our gluten free wedding cake was also delicious and turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. I highly recommend The Clever Cupcakes for all your sweet tooth needs.

Been about 4 times and these are the best cupcakes! I have nut allergies so it’s hard to find a place that is nut free. They have gluten free and vegan options also! Each flavour we’ve tried has been amazing, personally recommend the caramel cream cheese (crowd favourite)! Service has always been great too! Recommend it to everyone I know. Bonus - went the day after my birthday and got a free cupcake! Not overly sweet which I like (not a huge icing fan). Don’t skip the opportunity to try this place!!
