Why do your hours say 10am-7pm. The girl behind the counter just closed up at 12:30. Terrible.

Horrible service here! Edited: I just ate egg shells in my bowl!! Servers are really stingy even though they charge $10 for a bowl. I always order the no.4 bowl and once, there were no avocadoes or cracker inside. The next time, I got 1 tiny slice of avocado and it was all brown and nasty looking! I miss when i actually got decent amounts with fresh avocadoes. Check your orders before leaving. Seriously. I hope other locations are not as bad because their food is actually really good. Wished the service was on par.

I paid $10 for a quesadilla that was not even half filled with the toppings. Over half of it was just crusty tortilla. Definitely not worth the price, super disappointed as I only buy lunch on campus occasionally I wish I would've went somewhere else.

There is one staff member at this Chopped Leaf location that always seems to be in the WORST mood ever. She has dark hair with blonde streaks. She honestly needs to get out of customer service, because she seems to absolutely hate her life working there. I would have let this slide and chalked it up to a "bad day" if it was one time, but this has happened every time my friends and I have been there (5+ visits). Here are the facts: 1) When the AB government switched to QR codes, she stated she did not have a QR reader (even though its free from the app store?). She literally would NOT accept our QR codes and was insisting to see outdated proof of vaccine. This was not following current government protocols and she was extremely rude when asking. 2) Went to grab a meal after the gym at 4:10pm, before even reaching the till she shouted "we don't have any protein right now, the ovens are all turned off". I was shocked, looked at my phone to check the time, she stated they were closing at 5pm... When I informed her of the time she quickly used the excuse "sometimes we close early when its not busy". Who knows how early she "decided" to turn off the ovens. This is extremely unprofessional. 3) When ordering my tried and true, the spicy chicken sandwich, I was asked if I wanted ranch on the side (which it comes with) and then charged for the side of ranch. The next time they asked me this, I said "yeah, it comes with it right?", and she SNAPPED back "yeah, I'm just asking if you want it though" ??? 4) A customer in front of us in line was asking for a spoon and she was trying to charge her for it. When this customer went to pay with a card she said she couldn't cause the price was too low, so she made her buy a drink... I know this might be store policy, but she is just so rude about everything. Also, it was just a spoon... 5) Listen, I am by no means an anti-masker, but last week the University made masks recommended NOT required. My friend and I walk up with no masks on, because we just finished working out and were winded lol. We just barely get in line and she yells "do you ladies have masks?", which I don't even think she is allowed to ask since masks aren't currently mandatory. I honestly think she did this just to feed her superiority complex... Anyway, TL;DR this staff member needs a reality check and to have some compassion and patience with the students and staff at the University. The service is so poor and feels borderline confrontational that we restrain from visiting most times. I would like to add, that at our most recent visit there was an incredibly kind young man (shaggy light-coloured hair) who ALMOST made up for the service experienced by previously mentioned staff member. He was GENUINELY kind, asked about our day, and held up a great conversation. I hope he's able to get some recognition from this portion of the review as he made our experience pleasant for once.

Lots of veggies, but way over saturated with oil and over done pita chips. For something that is supposed to be a healthy-ish option the oil absolutely brings the quality way down.
