β β β β β I was a little apprehensive about the recent reviews, so went in to Chickadee with an attitude of "well we'll see, and if it's no good at least we were warned." To my happy surprise the service was excellent, the cocktails were outstanding, and I'd definitely like to go back. Maybe you gotta hit it on the right night but I thought Chickadee was great.

Both waitresses were sweet and helpful in our choice of dishes. Beyond amazing fried chicken that tastes some kind of Asian/Italian herbs. Ask for the fritters that are melting cheese and chicken fried balls and herbs.

β β β β β Every drink was spot on, love the creativity in their signature chickadee cocktails. Service was friendly, attentive and offered great suggestions. I have never had a bad experience and almost always look to stop by for a drink when in the area.

β β β β β I hesitate to write this, because if too many people find out about this place I wonβt be able to get a table. Butβ¦ this place has the best cocktail experience in the city. Donβt tell anyone. So much creativity here, none of the pretence. Does it take slightly longer than pouring a coors lite? Yeah dude, for a reason. Come here for the craft, let them tell you what you should drink because theyβre right. Just donβt go when I want to go plz k thx.

Love to see very opposite reviews, either one or five stars! This is my second visit, and a server kept my umbrella for a week! I really do apprecitate it. Thank you so much, Jet. And all drinks are amazing

β β β β β Wanted to bring my husband here for a nice quiet meal after work. He had just lost his ID (can't get an appointment until next month to replace it!) but had a photo on his phone of it. Upon entry we showed the staff our vax records and our ID but they said they would only accept his if it was a hard copy. Not the photo. We showed a photo of his passport and his credit card with his name. No. Liquor inspectors are cracking down, they said. (Okay my husband is 30. He doesn't look too young to be drinking.) One of the staff almost let us slide with all this info but another cut her off saying we had to leave.
Fine. We went next door to juke to at least grab some takeout. While I was waiting for my order my husband started eating his at a table by the window and the staff from next door came over and ushered us out. Saying we can't be in there without ID either. Which we had! Annoyed to be kicked out after we had paid for their food! Very frustrating. Seemed like they were discriminating for no reason.
