I don’t say this lightly, I travel for a living and fish and chips are always my indulgence all across the country and across the UK. I can’t stress enough how perfect the batter is and the chips are perfect. In fact, most of the places in the UK don’t come close to the Cheeky Chippy. The owners were wonderful and they should be proud of what they’ve created. Take the detour to come here. You won’t be disappointed.

Obviously the battered cod is a must, but the battered sausage is also amazing (be warned, it's literally 12 inches of delicious). We ordered the curry sauce this time and I can't even express how good it tasted with everything! Aside from the amazing food, they are the sweetest people and so good at what they do. You can tell how much they care about their food and their customers.

The staff there are super friendly and awesome and always happy to see new people. The fish and chips are phenomenal, deep fried well without being over greasy and good fish quality. The battered sausages and pickles are also great. The also now have really great cheeky merch. Highly recommended and well worth the drive from anywhere

It was soooo good. The fish was fresh, crispy and not greasy. The fries were perfection, crispy but not dried out or greasy. I come from a family of fisherman in Newfoundland and this is the best fish and chips I've had outside of my mother's kitchen.
S	Samantha Sabo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious. The fries are crisped to perfection. The batter for the fish is delectable. And the fish itself is mouth watering. I don't even like tartar sauce and I liked their tartar sauce! I would recommend their fish and chips to everyone.

The only remarks I could give is to cook a bit more the fries because ours missed one or two minutes in the fryer. They could have been more crispy. Other than that everything was excellent. We will come back!
