★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s great to see the business get back on its feet since the flood! The Carvery has been packed every time I’ve gone since the reopening, and for good reason; the quality haven’t changed and they still serve the same sandwiches and soup that they’ve built their reputation on.

However, the sandwich (Westcoast Club), wasn’t anything special at all. Definitely not worth $13.50. I’ll go back for soup, but I’ll just make my own sandwiches in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The framed awards all over the wall says it all! I finally had the chance to check out this literal hidden Gem for lunch and the food was fantastic. My West Coast Club was loaded and so yummy. The pineapple hot sauce on the side is my new favorite thing! Can’t wait to try all the other menu items x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WHY ARE YOUR SOUPS SO GOOD!!!! The sandwiches are extremely filling so for someone who doesn’t eat large portions I suggest sharing a wrap or a sandwich with a friend and get two small soups! 100% try the soups the Buffalo is incredible (they made them on Thursdays)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kudos to the staff! They are invaluable asset to the restaurant! They made us feel at home. their sincere and warm service was really felt (and tasted ?) in their sandwiches. The shop is conveniently located at King George corridor so when you feel like having a sandwich or two, this sandwich shop is highly recommended! This shop seriously serves quality sandwiches!!! Thanks for the wonderful experience!!!

To give them credit they were so so soooo busy. Due to them being busy they were putting food out in my opinion just a bit too fast. I would have been happy waiting a little longer for it to be done properly... the photo says alot... what could have been amazing just needed a bit more love. Taste was good. So the potential was there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. What more could you ask for from a restaurant? When we’re in the neighborhood we almost always stop by for lunch. The fried chicken sandwich is worth the hype and the Motown Philly is incredible. To Chef Bryan and the rest of the team at The Carvery Sandwhich Shop: Keep doing what you do.
Update: Add The Mighty Hog Heaven to the list of incredible sandwiches I recommend. Seriously, I’ve never had a bad meal here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got the chance to try their famous chicken sandwich on a Wednesday, and ordered a lambwich as another tasting. I'm feeling ridiculously underwhelmed. The portions are not congruent with the prices charged. And I'm not feeling blown away by their sandwiches. The cabbage slaw in the chicken sandwich wasn't chopped/shredded finely either - just sloppy chunks. The value isn't there for me.
Some of the clientele are uncivilized folks allergic to masks. That was annoying waiting in the same room as them, but it's not the restaurant's fault.
