The ENERGY inside is awesome and everyone there is friendly, and without ego. In just over a month I feel like I am getting in amazing shape while learning something new and improving my skills every class. I have also taken a few private classes with Head Instructor Wayne Li and it is definitely worth it. His attention to detail along with his technical knowledge, and ability to communicate that effectively to his students makes him an excellent instructor. If you want to get in great shape, while learning authentic Muay Thai then I highly recommend coming to train at Coastal Union!!!

One of, if not the best Muay Thai gym in the lower mainland. Whether you're brand new or well versed, I can guarantee you will be extremely satisfied with the investment you're putting in. Wayne is a very technical and intelligent instructor, his teaching methods allow his students to learn very quickly and develop towards a high skill level. Highly highly recommended this club ?
D	D Mann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve trained Muay Thai all over the world including in the Netherlands & Singapore and I must say that Wayne is great at not just improving the conditioning of his students but also pays a lot of attention to teaching and improving technique. For me, after moving to BC recently Ive found the entire gym to be very friendly, welcoming with a great teacher and great fellow students. The gym provides a safe and respectful environment to teach the art of eight limbs.

I have mainly been doing private lessons with Wayne and I can say without a doubt, it’s some of the best 1 on 1 training you can sign up for. When I signed up for private lessons I was a bit nervous as I had not trained in a while but, Wayne was very good at easing me back into it but at the same time pushing me past my limits. Mentally this was very important to me, I had regained and developed a ton of confidence. When training with Wayne it’s not just about training to learn the martial art of Muay Thai but to become a better person overall. I’m excited to start training again and cannot thank Wayne and the coastal fam enough for everything they’ve done.

Everyone of different skill sets are welcomed there. Everyone is very helpful at Coastal Union and every class is very fun and energetic. Definitely learning a lot more than a previous place I had attended to previously, and it's also a very healthy type of exercise, which helps you boost your stamina and lose weight. Wayne is a great instructor and is very helpful when your having difficulty during class. He is very encouraging and is very welcoming to beginners, where if your not able to do something or don't know how to, you won't be hesitant to ask him. If your interested in learning Muay Thai, whether your a beginner or experienced, I would highly recommend you join Coastal Union.

What I really love is peers help your grow and support your growth and there is no egos in this club, everyone helps each other. Thank you Sensei Wayne for being a great mentor.
