An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service was really good but they had 50/50 tickets for sale so I ask one one the server and he said someone would come on the patio to sell some. We waited and decided to go on the main floor cause nobody showed up and they said it was to late to buy some. Also my son won a golden ticket for the super bowl and apparently they called everyone but he never received a call or an email. Maybe it's just miss communication between the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has a great atmosphere and the service has been always great. I went for the second time to get the prime rib with shrimp. The first time it was great. This time not so much. It was a bit cold and the meat was a bit too chewy.
Despite this, I still think it's a nice place to go with friends or family and their specials are great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our service has always been great at this location as our favourite server from Mahogany transferred here. I guess thats what kept us trying again. On 2 different special menu evening not only was the food over cooked and cold it took well over a hour and 15 minutes each time to get. I wish this wasn’t the case and the bar itself is pretty awesome with the different levels. If they can get the kitchen in order and staffed correctly I really think they could do so much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So glad Canadian Brewhouse has come to our part of town. A huge menu and great drink selection at reasonable prices. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. We've been here a few times already. Shout out to servers Kaelyn, Ashlyn, and Donna. The hostesses are happy and welcoming too. Joely at the front doors is so sweet! Lots of other great staff but I don't know everyone by name. Try the wings, and mac'n'cheese!
