I have found him to have extensive and deep understanding of not only Hapkido, but Judo and some Brazilian Jiujitsu, as well as understanding the core concepts of boxing. He is is able to blend these all seamlessly into what I feel is a very comprehensive and complete system of martial art.
The facility itself is simple, but the training space is very large and padded with high quality Judo-style mats. Nothing flashy or superfluous.
Master Choi is friendly, humble and will push you to train hard. If you are interested in increasing your level of flexibility, physical strength and cardio fitness, whilst learning an effective way of self defence, I highly recommend training at Choi Martial arts.
I can't say enough good things about training with Master Choi. If you're remotely interested in learning a martial art, support a small local studio like this one. We need more places likes this to survive and train at in this city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Choi Martial arts is fantastic. Our son was quite shy at first and master choi found a way to get him to relax and open up. Now he is excited to go every time.Master Choi's class is the perfect way for our son to burn off energy, and learn to respect the art inside and out of class. I would highly recommend this class for any body who is interested in Hapkido. Young or old. Cant wait till the new year so i can join as well.
