My daughter has been practicing since she was 5 and it has become her passion and favorite sport to do for the past 2.5 years.
The Master's have become family to us and truly love every child that steps foot onto the mat. My daughter has courage, focus, strength, confidence and carries everything she's learnt in class to all portions of her life.
At Black Belt Jung's the children are encouraged to believe in themselves, trust their instincts and represent themselves with respect to others as well as all living things :)
My 4 year old daughter has also started Taekwondo at Black Belt Jung's and though she is a little more shy and nervous, when she steps onto that mat we see a light shine from within her and this look on her face that says "I can do anything". I am so grateful she can attend classes as I know this will help give her courage to start Kindergarten in the fall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In one word: tremendous. I know my child is getting excellent taekwondo instruction. The kids find the lessons fun and the grown-ups watch the classes because they are entertaining. The values and ethics of taekwondo are not emphasized in every class but they are relevant to how I parent my child. My kid is not only learning how to be a martial artist but also a great citizen. The wisdom from taekwondo has life-long benefits. Their services temporarily paused during the pandemic but they swiftly adapted and offered flexible programs - excellent initiative and a caring attitude.

The masters are so great with younger and older kids, they teach patience, listening, focusing skills and memory skills on top of martial arts. Highly recommend if your child is a beginner looking to dive in martial arts.
