On a meal plan i spent thousands on i have consistently only had eggs or nearly raw tofu as my protein source. It is ridiculous. The specials mostly cater to carnivores and leave those of us who cant eat meat feeling worthless. I would love to like it more as many staff members are lovely and kind. But the menu is very obviously oblivious to any cooking styles other than carnivorous ones.

K	Kyle A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is super mid. Better than most other school cafs. Beyond disappointing that they never had matza DURING PASACH for the their Jewish students. When I asked Joshua he said “i know it’s Passover but it’s not on the menu today”. It should be on the menu the whole 8 days since that’s all your Jewish observing students can eat.?‍♂️?‍♂️ no lukas during hanaka, no apples and honey, now no matza?‍♂️?‍♂️

I have came here to have a variety of tasty dishes and there are times where they only have a few options which isn’t tasty at all. They always charge the same price either way, which makes me not want to come back.
F	Felix Hutnyk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The caf is pretty great in terms of university cafeterias. Food variety is quite good unless you are vegan. The staff are friendly, the space is clean and easy to navigate.

The food is fine, you can usually find something to your liking if you visit all the stations. The staff though, they're not so good. Ok, there are a few that a friendly enough, but most can't help but grunt. One morning when I asked for an egg on the grill for breakfast, the guy left to unpack frozen hash browns in the back kitchen. He only came back several minutes later to give me a burnt egg, to which he grunted at me when I thanked him.

Sometimes they have really nice food but that’s a rare. Frequently they have Something average but not good enough. They always have Chinese food but nothing Canadian. Chicken and beef is what you will find here frequently. They have nice desserts for sure. But they gotta change their chefs.
