★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been twice, brunch is good, not amazing, but boy do they struggle with service. Nice people but seems disorganized and takes forever to get the food, a lot of walking back and fourth without acknowledging us and taking our empty plates! It’s quite loud as well as it is a big space with lots of echo. There was kids banging on tables which was greeeaaat! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was at full capacity. The ambiance was buzzing. The cocktails were nice and the food was food. Only a few restaurants offer reservations for brunch. The Savoy offers that possibility which is greatly appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to order brunch here on my birthday with a good friend of mine. The food was awful. My friend ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. The salmon came cooked, like a filet, since they said they didn’t have any smoked salmon left. When we asked about the capers that were suppose to be included they told us they didn’t have any in house, “sorry”. They didn’t tell us when we ordered that the salmon would be cooked. I ordered the chorizo Benedict. The eggs were fine but the salad was past due and the fruit was literally… mouldy, see picture. Only giving two stars because the waiter was attentive to how horrible the food was and didn’t charge us. Not going to recommend Savoy as a place for brunch to friends though, it tasted pretty gross.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for an 11:30am reservation and after being seated no one acknowledged us for half an hour. Server finally came and took our order at noon after we flagged someone else down and the food came out at 1pm.. a full hour after we ordered. At 12:50pm, the server did apologize and said they're making our order now, but it seems like our ticket was forgotten as 4 tables that were seated after us got their food beforehand. Basically took us 1.5hrs to see food! The food itself was very average and they forgot half the bread and pate on my order. The sausage was also somewhat burned but cold? The only hot food item out of 4 orders was my friend's sweet potato fries. Will not be going back unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was great and the food was really tasty and fresh. Super accommodating with swapping ingredients for food restrictions. We tried their Poutine Matin (subbed meat for an extra egg) and their Dauphinoise Benedict (subbed meat for cherry tomatoes). Would definitely come again!

Good Food. Some items feel like they belong on their own separate bar menu, but we weren’t disappointed with anything that we ordered. Good portions, good flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This might just be my new favorite breakfast in Ottawa. They have a new menu and everything was incredible. Can't beat their potatoes. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Really great vibe, can't wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an excellent breakfast while waiting for my eye doctor’s appointment. The eggs Benedict variation with the sausage was wonderful. The potatoes that came with it were cooked and spiced to perfection. The orange just was great and the coffee better than average. I enjoyed the music and it inspired me to add to my play list. Best of all was the staff, funny and efficient. They also had excellent menu recommendations. I’ll be back as soon as I get a chance.
