If I could get married, I would do it at LAGO over and over again. For someone who comes from an event background, I have high standards for service and Lago EXCEEDED all of our expectations. Not only was Gyneya amazing to work with but the staff day-of was so attentive to every single guest. AND THE FOOD, incredible. Hearing our guests rave about the food was so wonderful. I would recommend LAGO to anyone looking for top quality service and amazing dining experience for any event. Thank you LAGO for making our wedding so memorable in the best way possible!

I am a wedding planner, and we've worked at Lago several times now. Geneya and her team are amazing. We love working with them. The space is beautiful, and the food is excellent. We are very excited to work there again!

We had a very nice diner at Lago. The place was very quiet and we were seated by the window. The view was pretty good. Our server was very friendly & kind. The salad, french fries, slow-cooked ribs and cheesecake were all very delicious. I especially suggest the slow cooked ribs for the main. Overall, highly recommended!

Was there for my prom night. It was amazing, the staff, the size of the place and the scenery. The food was quite good too which contributed to the nice experience. I'm happy I went there

I wish I could give more than five stars! My husband and I had our wedding at Lago in October and Gyneya and her team did an amazing job hosting it at their venue. We booked with Lago just before the pandemic and had planned for 150+ people, but given that we didn't know how things would go by Oct 2021, we decided to cut down to 60 people. Gyneya was extremely accommodating given our circumstances and did a great job ensuring the bottom floor of the restaurant wouldn't feel too spaced out with less tables. Gyneya's communication was fantastic and she would answer whatever questions I had and provided us with many options whenever requested. I appreciated the meeting before the event where we ran through the timeline together, and I even provided her (and the rest of my vendors) with my spreadsheet of the timeline, which helped keep everyone on track. But I think even if I didn't provide that, she would have been on the ball! If I had been at any other venue I would have hired a day of coordinator, but Gyenya rocked it. Her and Kim would even step and help with the train of my dress and make sure it was placed perfectly. I loved the tasting day that we had to try out the menu options we selected - and it was difficult to narrow down from all of the options! Lago is incredibly well priced for what you get between the food, venue location, and the coordination. All of the guests raved about the meals and the hors d'oeuvres. And of course the location on Dows Lake is lovely, particularly in the fall. The bar staff were so sweet and so much fun too. I did want my ceremony to be on the patio but there was a down pour projected for our wedding day; Gyenya was incredibly flexible and let me make the call the morning of if we wanted the ceremony inside or outside. I really appreciated this! I feel like there's so much more to say but ultimately I never regretted or second guessed the decision to choose Lago. The day of our first meeting with Gyenya we had a couple other venue visits but as soon we left our meeting with Gyenya we knew we wanted our wedding at Lago. I can't begin to express my gratitude for an amazing day - if anything went wrong behind the scenes, I had no idea! I had so much fun and didn't want the night to end. Very nice place I attended a wedding reception. The food was good, staff is nice and the view of Dow's lake is nice!!

We held our wedding at LAGO in the Vista Room this past weekend and cannot recommend this venue enough! We were absolutely thrilled with how everything went off - from the venue itself (perfect space, size, views), to the food, setup, help with decorations, pre-event communication....I could go on and on. They made it extremely easy for us to arrange everything ahead of time. We were super confident going into the day-of. Everything was perfectly setup when we arrived and the staff on the day of were a pleasure to work with. They really went above and beyond to make our special day just that. We are so appreciative!

Event staff was the nicest and fast service ever. I didn't make there job easy and the staff did amazing. Went for a wedding. Beautiful space. Very clean. Lots of room. Chairs hurt after a while. But that's not too bad. Music was great. Waterfront veiw was amazing. Food was good. I'm sure if they weren't cooking for so many. It would have been perfect. Salads were huge leafs not chopped and way to much ceasar dressing. The steak tasted like it was steam cooked. The meat was just extremely tender. Not how I'm used to eating steak. Maybe the cut of meat. Over Beautiful location. And staff killed it. Bartender was amazing.
