Boutique style gym that has been very clean since reopening! I feel very safe and comfortable working out at Anytime Fitness in Little Italy since Covid-19 and would recommend this gym to everyone. Thanks for making my gym experience a safe place for me to workout!

I have been to a dozen Anytime Fitness gyms, and I'd say this one is average. It is not very big, only has 2 changing rooms, the equipment seems pretty old, like the building itself. However, it should have most of what you need to do a decent workout. The gym is also clean, there is plenty of parking and it is obviously open 24/7. I would not make this my primary gym, but going every once in a while is perfect.

Covidtime Fitness , can be a more suitable name. Lack of enough oxygen can cause heart failure when working out, for the mask dummies in the back, you are putting your health at risk anyways by working out with that face diaper on. Also, there are people who actually need the gym for strong medical reasons, who are actually unable to work due to the poor physical state, struggling to make the ends meet DURING TIMES OF "PANDEMIC", gym is offering a very limited service and still charging them full price. The system can register when someone has used the gym for an hour, but can't make justice when someone has not used the gym for over a month and still paying it (pre- covid) and yet they are there ready after 1h ready to ask you to leave. Sh* way of doing business, it Always hits back.

Favourite gym. Uncommon that you have to wait for a machine. Incredibly friendly staff. Always clean and well maintained. Great price, couldn't ask for anything better. Fantastic environment for people just starting to work out. The atmosphere is centered around bettering yourself, and everyone is there for the same reason.

Edit 1: I have the right location, 901 Carling This gym allows members to workout WITHOUT a mask! That is not safe at all for everyone. I was at your gym on Monday, after the stay home order, and I was shocked to see someone without their masks on. I was told by staff that this person has an exception. I do not think this person should be allowed in the gym with other patrons even with an exemption given the situation in Ottawa right now with a high number of cases, the variant and a third wave. It's very irresponsible to let her into the gym with other patrons at peak hour (5pm). She is also compromising the staff. Patrons should be warned that this is happening at this location. It's a very serious matter. I no longer feel safe at this location. I also expected more stringent rules to be in effect at the gym. The number of people in attendance was low but you still had patrons with masks under their noses, I didn't not see the staff clean anymore (they did a great job before the lockdown) The plexi glasses separating the treadmills are way too low and there should be some cardio machines being blocked off because they are too close together. Patrons should have their masks on "all the time" even while doing cardio. I was told at Movatie the mask must be on even when doing cardio. I do not feel your gym is covid safe and there are serious serious issues with letting someone walk around the gym without a mask.

901 Carling is a nice gym, it's well run and the staff is pleasant, but right now with this third aggressive wave and stay at home order there are some serious Covid safety issues. 1) There are still people wearing masks under their nose or on their chin. There should be continuous strong enforcement for masks to be worn properly. 2) Masks should be worn at *all times*, even while on the cardio machines. 3) If you, as a private company, are going to accept people with mask exceptions (like it was the case when I was last there), then extra measures should be put in place to protect your other patrons. One of them could be having a specific gym time dedicated to the person with mask exemption. Gyms are only safe when people are actually wearing masks. We all heard about the Quebec City gym. I was extremely uncomfortable with this unmasked person at the gym and I ended up leaving. I am very disappointed that I do not feel safe to work out anymore at your location. I hope that maybe these concerns can be addressed. Thank you

I have been with Anytime fitness for a short while as I signed up during the last lockdown (I had a physician's note). I usually go to Merivale or Kanata location. Attempted to go to this location yesterday (as Merivale was closed), the staff member there was super short with me. Asked if I had a medical note, then when I showed it, proceeded to tell me that if I wanted to workout I had to sign a whole new contract for 2 months at 150$ and to contact my location to freeze my membership. This did not make any sense to me as previously during lockdowns I was able to go to both Kanata and 1867 Carling locations. She literally turned me away in my gym clothes, it was super embarrassing. She was also super short with other members as she was talking to me. Thankfully I called Kanata and 1867 Carling location who told me that I am still able to go to those locations with my membership as I am still under the Kanata club (the staff at 901 Carling told me my account was with Merivale which was false), the staff at those locations were super helpful. Would highly not recommend going to this location during this time as the woman there was super rude and had zero customer service. I'm not sure if she gets a bonus for sign ups but it really seemed that she did not want to be there or that she was willing to help me at all. Go to the Kanata location or the 1867 Carling location instead!

February 2022 Not sure why Anytime Fitness is not posting membership fees online ? If your wondering their cheapest membership with a contract (taxes ,fees ,etc..) 82.11 monthly. It is $32 biweekly or 26 payments plus a yearly $40 fee plus your 13% tax. $39 biweekly no contract… They have no onetime payment options ,no promotions and at this time no way to try before you buy. You could sign contract and cancel within 10 business days in writing if it’s not to your liking. I checked and other Anytime locations same thing. Staff are friendly ,club appearance was clean. Read the contract completely front and back. Hope this review helps in your decision to move forward or not.
