About The Butchery
Since opening RGE RD in 2013, we have committed to sourcing all our produce and meat directly from the farm. We’ve grown with our farmers from a humble farm dinner, to buzzy restaurant and are now thrilled to give our community the same access to world class meat that we’ve had the privilege of serving the last seven years.
The farmers raising these products have become our friends and in many cases extended members of the family. You will find them dining in the restaurant or catching up with our team as they make deliveries. Our connection to these people goes well beyond the product.

I just wish they were open longer, closing at 5:30 makes it impossible to stop here after work.
Working folks shouldn't have to leave early just so they can get to the butcher before it closes.

The staff were awesome.
Took the time after we said it was our 1st visit to walk us around and show us everything.
They have an amazing wild game selection as well as regular meats. lol
I even saw elk hotdogs!
All are smokies, hotdogs and burgers are made in house.
As well as a great variety of in house made breads and buns. There are other things but sorry we were focused on the meats! Lol
They have an area where you can sit and have a sandwich and a drink.
We bought 2lbs of bison meat to make bbq burgers tomorrow. Can't wait!
We will definitely visit here again.
If you are a meat person this is the place for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! Staff are so beyond helpful and informative. With our first stop in, we asked many questions and were met with nothing but kind and clear information. With such an amazing selection available, it's hard to settle on what to take home!
We grabbed lamb, breakfast sausage, duck fat, skin ON boneless chicken breast (they have it!). I am personally elated!!
Everything was absolutely incredible. The breakfast sausage is dangerous. Prepare for a new love in your life.
I'm telling you now. RUN, don't walk. RUN!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is hands down my favorite meat shop in the city. They have an enormous selection of aged and butchered meats, including occasional unusual cuts such as tongue and cheek. Their steaks are fabulous and extraordinary quality, as is their house-made pastrami and liver pate. Their breads are always fresh-baked and stellar. It's not the cheapest place to get meat in the city, but here you really do get what you pay for.
