★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local butcher that knows their stuff! The sausages are good and you can order free range turkeys for the holidays or whenever you like. They also carry an assortment of fresh bread, jams, hot sausage and other condiments. Definitely worth checking out even for lunches. My husband and I miss this place since we moved out of the city. They make a great veal sandwich!

The guy who was taking my order was quite helpful but as he was taking down my order and I was giving him details a lady cook comes from behind and yells in my ear to move. I was startled obviously and surprised that she just made a face and went back downstairs. The guy manning the cash didn't even acknowledge my presence till the time I paid and left, I was in the store for almost half an hour. They hardly had 2 more customers who came n left. The atmosphere of this place is overall rude and I wouldn't go there again no matter how special their product is, which is nothing special. There are better people to give my business to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boujee meat market. It is super small and you may miss this store if you were walking down the street. It is a quaint little shop with higher prices but the quality of the meat justifies it. They were super clean and safe following COVID guidelines - appreciate that. I cannot afford to shop here on the regular, but if you are looking to treat yourself to a fancier meal or want an excellent cut of meat for a special day, I would recommend The Butcher's Son.
