The Bolt Supply House is your inclusive supplier providing the highest quality fasteners, industrial and safety products to companies and individuals throughout Western Canada.
This is accomplished by the sourcing of products worldwide, and strategically located distribution centres across Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
This approach enables us to support our customers with extensive inventories and competitive pricing.
Our History
The Bolt Supply House Ltd was founded in 1948 by a local Calgary family operating as a small business supplying fasteners in Calgary and the surrounding area. Since our first expansion in 1962 we have grown to 14 locations across Western Canada.
On October 3rd, 2017 The Bolt Supply House Ltd was acquired by Lawson Products Inc and continues to run as an independent subsidiary of Lawson Products Canadian division. Lawson Products has been servicing the industrial market in North America since 1952 and in 2018 The Bolt Supply House Ltd celebrated its 70th year serving Western Canada giving us a combined 139 years of experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there at the 12 street location today to purchase items for my company. They are close and I normally use them for my items I purchase. They lost my business! I won't be back as I was treated very unfair and was kicked out for having a mask exemption. They are not following the guidelines set out by Health Caada or the rules associated with the bylaw. Very dissapointed in the way they felt they needed to bully the customers. My business will now transfer to Cannadian tire, Lowes, Home Depot and other companies that understand the Laws associated with mask exemptions and fair treatment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a curt hitch receiver that came with bolts. It stripped upon torqueing according to the manufacture instructions. I went to contact the manufacturer with no help. I called and spoke with Tim G. explaining my issue.
I went Bolt supply house and luckily they had the exact same bolt available. Tim was very knowledgeable on the subject, he also found out the bolt only took max torque of 107 lb vs the 110 lbs that the manufacture recommended. I would highly recommend them for your bolt supply needs. They are friendly and eager to help their customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bolt supply House seemed to be the only place that had what I needed. I went in there with my electric skateboard and randomly asked for the hardware that would fit. I had already gone to other places in the city and was about to opt to purchase online from China which would’ve taken three weeks shipping. The bolt supply house was friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed me up in no time and the bill was a fraction of the price of purchasing online. Props to the Bolt supply House!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was at The Bolt House once again and once again in a minute or so I was out the door with exactly what I needed for a price that can't be beat. If you go anywhere first, you are wasting time and money. Service actually exists here. No need to wander endless aisles looking for staff who don't have a clue of what you need or are looking for. And the prices can't be beat. I asked for a drill bit at a big box store that would drill through concrete and rebar. This should work. They told me. What they sold me didn't work and it was expensive. I went to The Bolt Supply House and low and behold they had a bit specifically for that purpose. It even says so right on the package. The icing on the cake was it was much less expensive. This place is more than nuts and bolts and bits. Do yourself a favour and check out TBSH.
