★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With so few options in EMTC food court, this is one of the favourites when we are here. The cashier changes now and then, but the "chef" is almost a constant at this location.
One can now order to vegan a meal. Earlier, all you had to do was tell them to use a veggie sauce and not to add eggs. Glad Thai Express is acknowledging vegans.
Ordered a Tofu Pad Thai with vegan options and with no or little oil. This no oil option cuts the fat content of your choice significantly and I believe does not compromise on the taste as much.
The noodles cooked perfectly and the sauce plenty. The Tofu pieces are not consistent as with other locations, some offer pan fried, this location gives deep fried which I don't prefer, but it's OK. The taste was amazing, although I would prefer to be a bit less sweet and perhaps a little sodium in it. The noodles came piping hot which is perfect for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the pandemic a lot of food chains, especially restaurants. The quality of food has really suffered. This is the second time I’m getting food from this location and I wish I didn’t. The food is inedible. I ordered the General Thai Chicken, it was undercooked and weird tasting (tasted like undercooked flour and batter). Even the rice wasn’t good. I love Thai Express and I’m now super disappointed and won’t be ordering from this location for a long time. After this I wish there was a way to rate less than one star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like to this location Thai food, whenever I do not have time to cook I will come here! There is not too much healthy fast food between us but this one always have fresh vegetables,delicious soup(not use MSG).
Delicious and healthy I strongly recommend it!
My kids love it so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the basil chicken fried rice as it always has fresh ingredients and the right amount of chicken.
The staff are always great. My go to is the basil chicken fried rice and it never disappoints here, as it always tastes exactly the way as the first time I tried it. I wish this location much success in the future as the COVID lockdown can’t be easy. Will definitely continue to patronize in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to be regular to a Thai place express in downtown Toronto back in the days pre-covid. I used to love food there and also the good service i had in that place. I went today to this location and what a disappointment.
1. They can remove something from your dish say tofu but they don’t replace it for anything else. If you want say a piece of ginger or mushrooms instead they charge you extra but don’t subtract anything for the tofu.
2. The flavor is not good. Mine was actually bad if you compare with other Thai express stores
3. The customer service is not a thing here.
I don’t recommend the place. There are other good places here like Freshii, A&W, Jimmy the greek, Teriyaki to name some that I can recommend.
I almost forgot to say, I ordered no spicy and guess what, it was sooo hot that i had to “clean it” at home. I guess they forgot and i did not realized until i was home.
