β β β β β Ordered vegetable Pad Thai and it was the worst experience Iβve ever had. It contained 2 pieces of tofu and few green onions and bean sprouts. Filled up with lots of dry noodles. Really.. thatβs called vegetarian? We drove 20 minutes to come here because of its reviews. Waited 25 minutes for food to be prepared. How disappointing!!! We will never come back neither will we ever recommend to anyone. Absolutely disgusting.
Edit.. So the management approached me after this review and offered $25 gift certificate for me to come in and give them another try.

β β β β β Thai basil is quality Thai food. Right by Bloor and Walmer, good pricing (especially the lunch specials) and tasty food.
The pad Thai could use different veggies but the flavour is really fresh and tasty. Not too much sauce and not an overwhelming flavour. The red curry was SO good. Loved all the veggies they added in addition to it being a chicken meal. The portions for the lunch specials look like its less but it's very filling. Between two of us, we had leftovers! We did pick-up so I saw the inside of the restaurant and the atmosphere seems really nice. The colours and the artwork posted fits in well with a thai-theme and brings it a modern, higher class feel to the place. I would be back for done in whenever it's safe again

β β β β β Always a win when you eat here. Found this place when I lived in Toronto 10 yrs ago, recently came back to visit and it didnβt disappoint. I enjoy lots of the dishes and it has a nice atmosphere with great servers.

β β β β β I love Thai Basil! Their green and red curries are amazing, soooo much veg. We tried the Khao Soi northern Thai curry noodle with beef brisket and it was delicious. Brisket was super tender! The staff is always super sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend 0:-)

β β β β β The food was good but (lunch) portion size was small. They don't tell you ahead of time but they add an 18% gratuity to your bill.

β β β β β Stopped in for a quick lunch earlier today as my two go-to places around my nearby office were closed.
Lunch Special looked good, but I have a coconut allergy. Could I swap out the coconut-heavy soup? No. OK. Can I substitute a spring roll for the soup? No. OK.
The one, singular spring roll that came with the Lunch Special was fine.
The cashew chicken was brutal; the chicken had no taste, nor did the dish's peppers and onions.
Gave it two stars because I finished my plate and it was a reasonable price ($16), but the actual service and food quality probably closer to one.
Not sure where these electric reviews all originate from...I will not be back as this probably ranks 7th or 8th of the 8 places along Bloor I've tried since moving to the area.

β β β β β Nice clean interior decor. Customer service was prompt, attentive and polite. Tom Yum soup was very flavourful but was not crazy for the roll. Ordered the yellow curry (cashew chicken in creamy coconut sauce) and vegetable pad Thai. The portion was very generous but the yellow curry was overly sweet and could have used a little more flavour and spice. The Pad Thai was good but nothing especially outstanding. Overall not a bad experience, would go back and give them a second chance
