β β β β β Since I joined in I have loved every part of it. It is a place full of energy that welcomes people from various socio-economic classes and members who care and serve the community together. Being a not-too-large congregation and located at the Polish Community Centre means that newcomers all get the chance to "meet the pastor at the bar"

β β β β β My partner and I wanted to find a faith community that was welcoming and didn't just talk about how to reach out to the hurting in the world, but actually acted to help those who need it. We visited 8 different communities before we finally felt at home at Tenth East Van. This place is genuine, folks!

β β β β β Tenth - East Van is a welcoming place that will meet you where you are at. My family attended East Van shortly after moving into Vancouver and really appreciated how intentional people were to support us. The kids program offered at the site is also great :)

β β β β β We love the "realness" of this community. The laid back atmosphere helps me and my family focus on building relationships with people and God. A true community in the neighbourhood. Jade and Alvin are fantastic pastors. Great preaching and genuine souls.

β β β β β After spending some time searching for a church to attend, my husband and I decided to try Tenth East Van since it was close to our place. Super warm and welcoming when we arrived. We didn't feel pressured to be there. And when we returned every Sunday, they remembered us. Very warm and inviting. I feel very 'at home' with Tenth East Van.

β β β β β Good music and message. Few activities during the week, hard to make friends. The church rents a hall so there is no church "site" apart from Sunday mornings.
