Teamworks Physiotherapy Chiropractic and Massage

I have been seeing Abby at Teamworks Health Clinic for over a year now and I can truly say she has helped eliminate my back pain. She is a very experienced RMT and it exudes with her understanding of the body's anatomy. I always leave a session relaxed and with a new rejuvenated sense of being. She knows how to build rapport and maintain a professional relationship. I am definitely a loyal client and a big supporter of Abby's work ethic.

I received excellent care from Stephen (physio) and would highly recommend him and this healthcare team. Stephen was very knowledgeable and caring while supporting me with my acute injury as well as helping me look at preventative measures to help avoid future problems.

I've had a fantastic experience with the Teamworks team. Dr. Dossa was great and recommended I continued for some physiotherapy exercise advice with Lesley, and also wanted a full health regime by getting acupuncture from Dr. Ko as well. All three professionals listened to the postpartum back issues I had developed and gave me fantastic treatment. They were attentive, caring, and effective and I recommend each of them individually or together. In a matter of a couple of months I felt tremendous results. To have all services available under one roof was a big bonus. I will surely keep going to upkeep my wellness and recommend Teamworks Health Clinic highly.

Have been getting my RMT with Abby for the past couple of years. Also get my treatments here for Physio & Chiro. One stop shop for all my needs! They have a small gym on the side where they can show you exercises using small equipments. Everyone is always so friendly and the clinic is fairly new and always very clean! Social distancing protocol at the wait area & sanitizers at multiple places; It feels very safe especially during COVID.

After seeing a few different RMTs in Vancouver, I came across Abby at Teamworks and she is by far the best. She is professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She has been able to treat several issues I have experienced and I always leave the clinic feeling SO much better. Abby will not disappoint you. She is strong and can really work you!! Highly recommend her and this clinic.

Teamworks physio has your back (literally). I was injured in work and they have gone above and beyond to communicate my next steps with worksafe to ensure that my claim was filed on time so that I didn't have to pay for my physio out of pocket. The staff are all incredibly friendly and non-judgmental and have your BEST interest in mind! 10/10 would recommend for all your physio needs.

I've been going here for about 7 years and the team/staff are amazing. I've seen many physiotherapists and a few chiropractors in the past, but Dr. Dossa (chiro) and Lesley Cuddington (physio) have been the best people I have ever recieved care from. They've helped me improve and be my best, and continue to do so. I've been seeing Anthony Murray (RMT) for a while now and he's also been amazing. Also, for anyone who is currently pregnant, Lesley and Anthony have backgrounds in this department, which I have found to be very helpful. I moved from Vancouver to the tri-cities area and still will commute every few weeks as I don't want to go anywhere else. If you're looking for results, but also get the tools/advice you need to improve outside of a clinic, Teamworks is your place.

As I write this review on December 27th, 2021, I now quote from City News headlines, which state “”Vancouver pedestrian walkways slippery… Snowy , slippery pedestrian walkways concerned Park Board Commissioner”. The current temperature in Vancouver is - 9c. This is highly unusual for Vancouver. I had a fall in September 2021 and injured my shoulder. This is why I recently started physiotherapy with registered physiotherapist Angie Travlos. I should mention that I live on a hill. The street is closed with barricades due to the snow. I do not drive and taxis cannot get to my door. I live in a 3 level townhouse with stairs. I normally live with my daughter. However on December 25, she was diagnosed with Covid. She is ill and isolating elsewhere. Hence, if I fell during my walk to the clinic and broke a bone, I would be completely alone in a house with stairs without any help. In an effort to be proactive, prevent an injury, as well as following recommended public advice to avoid slippery sidewalks, I felt it was best to cancel my 11:30 am appointment. So this morning I phoned the clinic, begging if I could postpone my appointment to another day. They said that all they could do was to charge me a cancellation fee of $45.0. I explained all of the above to no avail. They referred me to the cancellation policy that it only applies to sickness. Perhaps I should have read the cancellation policy. Instead I opted for the truth. It is ironic that a physiotherapy clinic would have such a degree of inflexibility when a patient is trying to prevent injury. Ironic indeed. I expect empathy from a care giver. None here, which is a real shame., So my advice, read the cancellation policy. A very disappointed ex customer. Follow up: January 15,2022 Since writing my initial review on December 27, 2021, I was contacted by the clinic owner on two separate occasions. The owner appeared to show genuine concern in trying to understand the particulars of what took place. The owner of the clinic also offered to discuss the incident with the physiotherapist involved. I was also offered a complimentary next visit.. Although this was not about the charge per say, I appreciate this kind gesture and above his empathy, ability to listen and superb customer service.
