Cancelled my insurance in August of 2021, they continue to bill me even after multiple calls to cancel their overpriced service. Service agents are not helpful, never return calls and have extremely long wait times. Wish I could give a negative star rating

Worst customer relations ever. I had auto insurance with them for 2 years. My car had mechanical issues prior to my renewl date. It was a serious issue, If i continued to driving the car would have caused more damage to the engine. My mechanic started to work on it and the job got delayed becuase of the holidays and shipping the parts from japan and U.S. Finally after numerous delays my car was fixed and ready. Finally after 3 and half months. I ignored to pay the insurance when it was in the shop. Why would I have to remember to call TD and tell them what I'm doing with my car. I felt unsure about what I was going to do with the car. Insurance on the car was the least of my worry. Since I ignored to renew. They sent me $350 Cancellation fee back. I was screw that. why pay for a penalty for not communicating with them. I don't owe them anything. TD's reputation is going down. The respect I had is they are no better than any insurance company. The worst service ever. Trust me save your time witht these guy the policy is setup for them to win any court case or even charge however they feel like. I also received a collection letter from a collection company for $307. How does that make any sense? I spoke with one of the reps and said please look into this matter prior to the letter. No one from Td ever reached out to say anything about my request. Messing peoples credit is horrible way of showing your costumer care. TD AUTO INSURANCE IS HORRIBLE AND HEARTLESS TO ITS CUSTOMERS. Save yourself and find Broker to do the shopping for you. You will find a better company.

We have been with TD Meloche Monnex for many years....these folks have taken great care of us. Yes, wait times can be frustrating: however, but we deal with it and adjust our call times to avoid the really busy times. Today I dealt with agent " DAVID " from Ontario--the best experience I have had with an insurance agent in all my years--crisp, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. David made this experience a " 10 of 10 ".

Any excuse is good not to have to pay out. Been a loyal customer for over 10 years for home, 3 vehicles and 2 motorcycles. Have a complete home coverage with every possible option and add on. My roof leaked and caused water damage and they say it is not covered because it is a workmanship issue and that I have to talk with the builder. I am the second owner of this house and I believe the builder is out of business. Regardless the issue has just appeared a week ago (house was built in 2005). I am going elsewhere from now on.

2021 hail storm resulted in significant damage to a car and our home. The car claim went smoothly and TD was reasonable and quick. The house claim has been a nightmare. They started by farming our their assessment to a third party who, in spite of us pointing things out did not include them in the claim. Add a terrible TD representative to the mix (not knowledgeable at all, provided misleading and incomplete information, pushed back on extras) and it was a perfect storm. Nearly one year later and we finally have a new TD representative (who has been good) and they finally agree that all of the extra items should have been included to begin with. We have been with TD for 20+ years and several older claims went well but this experience will have us move our insurance as soon as possible (once the repairs are complete). Our contractor and several friends have similar recent experience with TD. Stay away!!

Worst customer service ever. My wife and I had home and auto insurance with them for years. We wound up canceling both policies and switching to another provider. When we canceled the sent us $300 back. I just received a collection letter from a collection company for $104. How does that make any sense? no one from Td ever reached out to say anything after we canceled. Seems like they messed up and are now trying to mess with our credit because we canceled. Horrible company DO NOT USE. There are MUCH better companies out there.

Overall, TD has been a great company to deal with. I've been with them for over 20 years and all the way. I've only had a couple claims, they were extremely quick to process and help out. That being said, after 20 years I'm no longer a customer. I received a better quote elsewhere and not only was TD not able to come even close to matching a better rate, they actually told me to try elsewhere and gave me tips on where to go to get additional quotes. I don't like having to leave a company or service that I've been loyal to for a long time, but I have to budget within my means and I saved over $500 switching.

Thieves Stay away. I paid insurance for years and when my rental property get water leak, they are supposed to pay for the lost rental income. The repairs are not done and they stopped the pavement. They were always late in payment. Look at the email and the photos. Stay AWAY .. We are taking them to court
