★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was good. But my burger was not good. It doesn't look appealing, the burger patty, tomato, and lettuce looks like it was reheat from previous day. But my son said his chicken mac and cheese was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot to get food and drinks. Typical bar food like poutine and quesadillas and good options on the tap for beer. They also have a happy hour special after 9pm. The service was friendly and attentive. And you will need your vaccine card to eat here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fall vacation lunch at Tap&Barrel was excellent. So much to see in the Olympic Village neighborhood on the bay. Took lots of photos of the skyline, water, art installations and fall colors. The restaurant was large, tidy and had an extensive menu. We particularly appreciated the organization of beer on tap (see photos) by style. Squash soup was very good. Recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and vibrant place to enjoy an evening out. The place is usually full on the weekends and hence there's a wait time of 15-20 mins. There's no option for flights which is kinda odd. The hummus and pita bread is a must try as the pita is freshly baked at the brewery. Staff is courteous and friendly. Must visit if you're at Olympic village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ceviche was amazing, hints of ginger really set it apart. The guac was very average, I was expecting it to be better. The red sangria was also very nice. Patio gets busy very quickly on a nice day, the barrel room still gives ocean views despite being inside. Overall, pretty good local chain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for dinner in Olympic village/on the water. The steak frites was by far the best meal anyone in my party had at the restaurant, the steak was high quality and very flavourful. I had the chicken pesto linguine which was nice, although the chicken was a bit dry. The ‘Hugo’ drink was super tasty, and I liked that they had no and low alcohol cocktail options. Staff was great, I recommend sitting upstairs for a great view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the truffle waffle fries! We ordered extra! Food was very tasty, most of us ordered burgers and everyone was well pleased. The kids cheese pizza was huge. Really good beer choices too - most were unique; they love up to their name. Space on the ground level was quite noisy, get an upstairs table if you can. They take reservations for larger groups (we were 11 people) which was hard for us to find.
