โ โ โ โ โ The prices compared to quantity is not bad, but the flavor of the food doesn't come close to other places and what you would expect. The Lamb Vindaloo was mostly bland and tasted very creamy for some reason, and the Butter Chicken was simply horrible (soupy and tasteless). Even the Garlic Naan was stiff and didn't taste very good.

โ โ โ โ โ We have tried a large number of Indian restaurants in the lower mainland. I like trying new places and my wife likes Indian restaurant food the most. We have found Tandoori Kona the best so far. Food quality is excellent and consistent, service is always good. Raj, the owner is a friendly gentleman. Most of the times he would personally come and talk to us. I like their fish masala, rogan josh and chicken korma the most.

โ โ โ โ โ Goat Curry was very good. Very large portion with plenty of meat and good ratio of gravy. Asked for medium spice which was perfectly executed. Enough spice to make you know about it and little enough that it remained tasty. Overall 10/10

โ โ โ โ โ Tandoori Kona used to be my absolute favourite Indian place but their quality and service level have really gone downhill while their prices have risen about 25%. While I understand prices do change, I feel like they've really compromised their quality.
Their food has gone from amazing to average in the last 3 years. their pakoras are not crispy and taste rather salty. Their other dishes are decent enough but service truly does not shine here.
Really annoyingly, their menu lies (or their servers do)! I ordered a dish that clearly lists pappadum but none was served. When I asked i was given a weak excuse of it's only for take out even when I pointed at it on the menu.
Sadly will now need to look for my new go to Indian place. Can't abide terrible service AND average food anymore.

โ โ โ โ โ A hidden gem with delicious vegetarian options. Both times Iโve been have been a home run. Great find if youโre looking for a good meal before or after a flight and staying at nearby hotels. Not sure why theyโre ratings arenโt above 4 stars, other than a lot of people complaining more about delivery, which is always questionable no matter where you order from. Just go to the restaurant!

โ โ โ โ โ Usually come here for the lunch special, good amount of food for the price. Got takeout today-3 naan, 1 onion kulcha, butter chicken, palak paneer, and dal turka. The onion kulcha had nice toasted onion flavour and was a little spicy. The butter chicken was fine, and the palak paneer had a fair amount of paneer in it. The dal was tasty as well. Dependable place and service is OK every time.

โ โ โ โ โ This is the first day that the BC Vaccine Card in effective, the waiter check my ID and also my friends, polite & efficient.
After some time, some party come without the vaccine card, the restaurant refuses to let them in, thatโs a good sign for protection.
Talk about the food now, the papadums is not very crispy enough, a little bit chewy therefore I think itโs sit for a long time. The prawn biryani is taste good but not much prawns inside. The lamb rogan josh is just okay with the same problem too, not much lamb. Tandoori chicken is so so, not juicy inside.
As I know, they have a lot of takeout & delivery, so I think they mostly focus on that and forget the dine in customers.
Overall experience is service is good but food is below average, I will give them one more chance, hope they can manage the food properly next time I visit.
