The staff was very friendly and professional and the food was outstanding. Fresh, colourful, fragrant and delicious.
They have taken what used to be a small, somewhat dingy space and created an experience for all of your senses.
If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet, do so as soon as you get a chance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to have dinner at Tamarind. Disappointed overall with the food. We ordered Masala Dosa, Chicken Village, Dal Makhani, Fish, Chilly Chicken & Lamb Kebab.
Quality of food was not upto the mark. Chicken and lamb were not upto the mark. They did not seem fresh or properly cooked. Quality of naan, paranthas was really good.
The service was really good. You need to improve your food game.
I personally liked Dosa. Sambar was good but chutneys were horrible.
Good dining experience and it is well connected with public transport on 8th street.

This was an amazing experience. In the heart of Saskatoon. Our first time going we were given a tour of the restaurant and its history, the staff was extremely knowledgeable about not only the history but the specifics of the menu.
Staff was also very polite and enjoyable to speak to, our servers especially Mariya and sharif gave great information about not only the individual menu items but also their origins from India.
The food was very well prepared in generous portions and very filling.
If I could give this. More then five stars I would.
Would definitely recommend going here and would definitely go out of my way to come there again
