L	Lori K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a home in Poole Creek 2 years ago. We had a few issues that got resolved but the major one was our roof. It did take some time as we tried to allow repairs to the roof but after two attempts it was determined that the roof was to be scrapped and replaced. I have to say that we did need patience but it was a huge expense for the company so I understood and was very glad once they took a look at the repairs they said a new roof was the only option and got it done. Mistakes happen but how you handle them is what counts and their customer service rep Carla is amazing! I would recommend Tamarack to anyone and would build with them again for sure! We love our home!
G	George G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tamarack Homes is a great company until they have your money. After sales service was very bad. Sending emails and making calls with no action unless you escalate. Right now I'm in a dispute where I asked them to fix my grass after it was ripped out to build their sidewalk. I went through all processes with the Councillor of my area and they determined that this was Tamarack's responsibility. When I emailed Jon Rot from Tamarack he pretty much ghosted me. Just like anything you will deal with Tamarack it's a struggle. If you're reading this and thinking of giving this company the most important investment of your life. Trust me. They will make you regret it.

K	Kristopher Nunn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been very happy with Tamarack. Both my wife and I have owned Mattamy and Minto in the past and have had our fair share of issues. Tamarack has built us a quality house. We had a home inspector for both our 30 day and one year. He found some minor things on the 30 days and virtually nothing on the one year. We love this neighboorhood (it has character and isn't just just another completely flat sub development. There are hills, nature, rocks and a gorgeous view of petrie Island). Tamarack customer service can be a bit frustrating and it does takes some time to get things fixed but they do get fixed. Having now purchased from 3 builders and viewing every builder in Orleans prior to buying Tamarack we are very satisfied. On one last note, Joy at the sales centre is great. We actually went in to buy a town and she suggested a semi (long story but it turned out great). I came to find out from a neighboor he had the same experience and was just as happy. This is a very expensive neighboorhood but worth it.

Apparently, it is my fault that I had 2 leaks in my upstairs bathroom, severely crooked walls and staircases, the kitchen island placed in the wrong area, mold throughout my basement, people coming to replace the same windows at least 3 times, my bathtub frame was crooked and the window above it wasn't level. someone came and put a layer of concrete on my entrance because they went to the wrong house, etc... I have had to stay home from work to open my door for them 35 times so far and I am still far from done. They make it seem like I am the problem and try to me give up. If you do not believe me, look at the two CBC articles written about this neighbourhood: 'Cardinal Creek homeowners locked in battle with builder ' 'Homeowners forced out over construction flaws call for reform' Luckily, during this process I have had support from Tarion and Canadians for Properly Built Homes (who organized the meeting last year which was attended by 80 Cardinal Creek Village homeowners). If it was not for them I do not know what I would have done. I do not understand how a company can treat their customers like this.

From top to bottom it was 5 star service. Tamarack always swiftly answered any inquiries pre-closing and post-closing my wife and I had. Of course the home buying process can be scary but we felt comfortable that we put it in the right hands. If we were looking to buy another home we would happily look to go through this amazing company again. We would recommend them to anyone who was in the market.

I love that Tamarack hosts summer BBQs & Holiday parties creating a sense of community. Purchasing the home was an amazing experience, the sales rep was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to address all our questions. The design centre is beautiful, and the staff is also very friendly. We had Kim, she was able to help guide us through all our interior selections. Although the house wasn’t “perfect” when it closed, the customer service team worked hard to make sure everything was corrected in a timely manner. I highly recommend them to anyone.
