★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an excellent day to be out canoeing/kayaking and stand up paddling boarding today. We were joined by a few colleagues and some of them it was their first time out at Petrie. We did a quick little tour around the Inlet/Beach area before coming back to our original launch point.

Also don't bring a charcoal bbq. Can't use them here. Found out the hard way

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's really very beautiful. I just loved this place. Good thing about this place is: beach and park. I went with my family and we took our lunch with us so I spent my whole afternoon there and had my lunch enjoying at beach. It was a great experience for me. And one more thing about this place is, we got a place to park our car. Usually on weekends we don't get any place to park in the parking and so we park far away from the beach but here we were lucky and parked our car near to beach.

it's so convenient no charge for the park and acceptable parking fees (if I'm not wrong, $2)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go experience nature close to the city. Go alone, with friends or with family. The trails are nice and easy to walk and beautiful views on the Ottawa River when you go away from the beach and toward the conservation area. People can rent boats and canoes as well, though I would check covid rules first. A great place to relax. Also beware bylaw. They sneak in like ninjas just before 6pm yo try and ticket everyone quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, quick and very pleasant nature park. The activities are fun for the kids as well. Good area to play volleyball and have fun with the frisbee. Nice conservation area...very scenic and peaceful. Parking isn't pricey and beach area are descent. The facilities are mess, but everyone needs to use common sense when keeping washrooms clean. Good times and memories. And as a bonus sometimes with live bands.
