★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marisza is is amazing. She works quickly, efficiently and with a FANTASTIC attitude! She was attentive to what I wanted and honest in her thoughts of the dresses I was trying on. So many places just want to make a sale and commission, but Marisza was sooo different from that! I felt calm and in control, with ZERO pressure to find "the dress." She has a magical touch because I DID find the perfect dress, COMPLETELY out of any preconceived ideas I had, it was truly such a great experience. She is wonderful. My dress came in so quickly even with her and the designer adding some touches to make the dress perfection. Marisza, you are so talented in a very difficult industry. Thank you for everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went in to try on dress with Marisza and I was blown away with the experience I had. I went in just wanting to try on styles to see what I would like for my wedding , I never thought I would be walking out of there with my dream dress. Marisza listen to me and what I wanted , my budget was something I didn’t want to go over and she found me dresses within my price point! She definitely encouraged me to try on dresses I wouldn’t think to try on and believe it or not I found my dress and it wasn’t something I thought I would want. Marisza knows her stuff , she knows dresses and styles , she’s so patient and a joy to work with. She made me feel so comfortable and made my experience so special! This is a day I’ll never forget!
If you’re looking for a dress , you must go to see Marisza , you won’t be disappointed! I’m so happy I listened to the recommendation from others because I walked out of her boutique one happy girl and on cloud 9 , I can’t wait for my wedding now!

She spent so much time with me to make sure the design and fabric was exactly what we wanted, and then frequently kept me in the loop about the progress of my dress. Additionally, she provided me with opinions on bridesmaid dress colours, jewelry, shapewear, shoes, and photography. Marisza is a wealth of information and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your dress. My mom and I are so impressed with Marisza’s attention to detail and talent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t stress enough how amazing this human and business is!!! Mar is such a talented, professional, kind, eloquent individual. She works hard and even harder for her brides. I have never felt more beautiful, understood and respected by a bridal professional. She takes her time with each bride that walks into her shop. My bridal party said that they have never felt so engaged and excited about a bridal appointment before. She treats not only the bride with upmost attentiveness but also makes the entourage feel as though they are apart of the experience as well! She works with brides budgets while providing them with their dream gowns! I cannot say enough good things about Taffeta and Tulle, so I’ll end it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a wedding dress you need to go see Marisza at Taffeta and Tulle. She empowers women. She cheers you on and makes you feel beautiful. She makes you love your body. I am a petite bride and I was able to get a custom dress made just for me in my exact size at an unbelievable price. Being in her shop is a completely different experience than being at any of the other bridal stores in the Calgary area. It is so much more intimate and magical. You don’t feel rushed to get out before the next appointment. She cares about her clients and getting to know them.I felt so comfortable searching for my dress with her. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After going to every big name bridal shop in Calgary and not finding what I was looking for I was feeling discouraged- that I would never find the right dress. I felt like a number, a sale, or felt pressure to buy. I knew I wanted to add sleeves and every store couldn’t really confirm for me what that would look like which felt stressful that I wouldn’t know exactly what the dress looked like until a couple months before my wedding. I then booked at Taffeta and Tulle on a whim after seeing that she was voted a runner up for best bridal boutique in Avenue Magazine. I brought my Mom and then we entered into the most enjoyable appointment ever! Marisza first sat us down to get to know me, my fiancé, and what I really wanted. It was just us three in her gorgeous studio out of a house in Airdrie. I felt that she really listened, made thoughtful suggestions, took the time to help me visualize what I wanted and I never felt rushed. It was fun! It felt how wedding dress shopping should feel! I ended up purchasing a Lis Simon dress that day and ended up going back once to see her to make a few changes along the way which she was amazing about! I can’t say enough good things about Marisza and her selection of customizable dresses is incredible! My dress even had some transportation issues due to Covid and Marisza knew I was getting nervous and her communication around this time was fantastic! This the place.
