THE STORY
Lavish Bridal Couture is owned and run by a father-daughter duo. It began with an idea that Alberta's South Asian fashion shopping experience needed a serious makeover, especially in bridal wear. Bridal shopping should be fun, unstressful and uncomplicated. Boutiques should be welcoming, organized and accountable. So we created exactly that. We opened the doors on November 24, 2017 to an aesthetic yet luxurious space that showcases beautiful designs with a full customer service experience. With continuous support and remarkable growth, we expanded on November 6, 2020 to a larger location with an even larger selection of products and services. β β β β β I held off on writing a poor review about Lavish but now that I see more customers coming out and telling their story, I will too. I used to see soo many of my friends and friends of family buying from Lavish so when it came to less than a year before my own wedding, I decided to go in and check out what they had! It started off great, but with the way things were happening with COVID and how "late" I came in to get a wedding lengha... all I can say is that they weren't too excited about accommodating my requests (and they weren't that complex either!). Overall the experience could've been better in my opinion and the environment could've been a little more positive, warm and receptive especially with how crazy the times are now. I get that I came in late but the way that I was talked about (when I wasn't in earshot) was kinda unbelievable. Hope they learn to be more accommodating towards all their customers because I went in with the knowledge that they were.

β β β β β I have never felt so disrespected in my 12 years of living in Canada. My Wife and I wanted an affordable option for our wedding and asked the owner about there options. They told us to go to a different stores since our budget was low. Although theres nothing wrong with that it was the tone and attitude that really upset the both of us. I would certainly not recommend this place

β β β β β My wife and I just bought two wedding dresses from Lavish for a wedding that we are attending in Vancouver. The owners are extremely nice and patient. The shop is very spacious and clean with lots of space to try out your dress. This should be anyone's go-to shop.

β β β β β I went to Lavish Bridals with my sister to get lehenga for her reception and we were stunned to see the beautiful outfits there, and the staff there was soo sweet and helped us a lot to choose the perfect dress just as per our needs and demand. The experience there was worth a million words of praise, would for sure recommend lavish Bridals to each and everyone. The outfits and customer service there will leave you totally speechless. I do not understand whats up with these negative comments despite their brilliant customer service

β β β β β Lavish Bridal Couture is absolutely amazing! I went there yesterday with two of my closest friends to find a reception lengha for my wedding next year. The store layout is beautiful with stunning gowns. The customer service is spectacular which made it so much easier to find the perfect outfit. Their collection is gorgeous! Iβm so excited to wear my outfit next year! I would definitely recommend this place.

β β β β β Lavish is absolutely amazing. 10 stars! The dresses are so beautiful and elegant and affordable. Kamal Soni the owner, made us feel so comfortable and at home with his kindness and generosity. He made sure the dress was altered and tailored exactly how I wanted and fit perfectly. They provided regular updates with on time services as promised. They went above and beyond and made sure my dress was steamed day before the wedding. From all the places I have visited for my bridal dress. Lavish was the absolute best from all of Calgary with their incredible dresses and services! I could not be any happier, they made my big day less stressful with their kindness and compassion. I will only go there for my sistersβ wedding dresses and other non-bridal dresses. Thank you Lavish team for being so amazing and wonderful and understanding and accommodating throughout the whole process.

The work staff was very kind and the material and dresses were of supreme quality and unique. I purchased my wedding outfit from here and it proved to be the best decision for my special day.
I am surprised after reading few negative comments over there website. Personally, I believe itβs not possible that any customer steps out from here with a sense of disappointment.
