Taylor does an awesome job! I've had tires replaced, ape hangers put on and the bottom end of my engine redone. Very satisfied with the service and how he interacts hands on

You want a straight goods review on TJ Custom Cycle? Well here it is, I first brought my bike to Taylor to change the tires on my first Harley a couple years ago. Like a dummy, I ordered the wrong one for the rear, online myself. Luckily, he had one in stock that fit and got me back on the road. Fast forward a year and it turns out the 'mint' bike I bought from a 'bro' had some undisclosed damages. Was having lots of issues with backfiring etc. Brought it back to TJ's in hopes he could have it fixed up within a week so I could go on an important road trip. Turns out that the previous owner had broken an exhaust stud and then tried to drill into it for an Easy-out, rolled off and drilled into the head. At that point buddy must have decided to quit pretending to be a mechanic and just slapped some silicone around the flange, the sold it to me. All the while swearing the bike was in perfect condition. Thanks bro Taylor was able to source me some heads and did a complete service and even adjusted my steering head, all to get me back on the road safely once again and in time. He did however note to me the probabilty that more damage had been caused by my motor sucking lean through that rear exhaust port that had been completely damaged due to the broken stud and pipe slapping around in the head. Bummer news but I made my trip thanks to Taylor and it was some of the best times of my life. Fast forward another year and some more issues with the 'mint' bike. Turns out my cam chain tensioner exploded and bits and pieces of it made quite the journey through my motor, among other damages. It is now stripped down and about to be rebuilt by Taylor at TJ's and I am pretty freakin stoked about the process. He has my complete confidence. I have spent a few hours at the shop over the last couple of years, and let me tell you, the man can do it all, and very well. From simple tire change-overs to accessories, insurance work and all manner of repair, all the way up to complete motor builds, mild to wild and everything in between. He has been more than fair and honest with me and is an expert at what he does. A Red Seal Journeyman Motorcycle mechanic and a Harley Davidson Master Mechanic, I guess the only question is, why haven't you been there yet?

This place doesn't deserve the one star I am giving it the only reason I am giving it any credit is because I have no choice in order to write the review. Horrible experience overall. Starting from quoting me and trying to charge me a difference of $3000 to dodging my phone calls/text messages while having my bike. This shop told me my bike was a priority which it never was he claimed he had parts taken off when they weren't he refused to send photos of parts he claimed to be ruined fast forward to 4 months later I had no choice but to show up to the shop unannounced due to being ignored. T J custom cycle has been my absolute worst experience with a mechanic by far. After calling around to find a new shop for my bike I heard nothing but bad things about this shop. This guy has no respect and is a liar! Never leave your bike here.

After being told by one generic motorcycle shop that fixing the gas gauge on my heritage would be 5 hours labor to remove the tank, etc, etc, etc, Taylor took a look at it, fixed the problem from above (no tank removal required) and charged me $50.00. He knew my story, could have charged me anything but didn't... highly recommend Taylor and TJ Custom Cycle
