Found this place by chance when I needed to stop on a road trip. It's got a very nice family-run kind of feel, from the friendly and helpful people working the desk to the breakfast-to-go I was given in a brown paper bag. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are all available at any time in the lobby. The room was tiny but absolutely immaculate, right down to the kind of bedding I'd have expected to find in a much pricier place: spotlessly white and fluffy, even the bedspread. Can't say enough nice things about it. If I'm in Revelstoke again I won't stay anywhere else.

I left my phone in my room and when I tried to get ahold of the office, there was no answer. I tried repeatedly and they would not pick up.

Dirty, smells and no customer service Had to stay one night as we had car issues coming through hope. When we arrived the man at front desk screamed at my 18 month old that he mustn’t jump ( like a toddler understands) he said if he jumps once when at the motel or cries once we will be asked to leave even at 2am in the morning!!! Absolutely disgusting treatment! Then he wanted to charge us a $500 damages deposit! They had already charged my credit card! I decided not to stay there from the horrible treatment of my sweet toddler! Still waiting for charges to be reversed back to my card! The man in the front was screaming at his wife. Had no mask on and clearly suffered a bad cough. Would never recommend

We had to stay at this motel due to the lack of other options in town. On arrival, we walked to the front desk, nobody was there, although the owner came down quickly. My friendly boyfriend said "hey hows it going" and the first thing he said was "we are fully booked". Even though we had a reservation. He seemed confused as if he had given our room to someone else... Anyways, we pay and go to the room, all the doors are precariously low cut. If youre any taller than 5"10', make sure you duck down, or wear a helmet. The room looks like it is straight out of the 60's, could really use a makeover. The biggest thing for us when we stay in "cheaper" is that we expect AT LEAST for the BED to be clean. Thats the bare minimum for a hotel, regardless of price (which was still $100) We are absolutely sure the bedding was unwashed due to the literal forest of hairs on the sheets, and the pillows. I am not kidding ... I saw one hair on the top and flipped it to reveal the other side. Yuck. My bf literally thought someone had shaved on the bed. The sheets had hairs as well, and had crimples in it as if they just left it on the bed from the previous guests. We actually ended up asking for new pillow cases, no apology or anything. We were lucky to have brought our own sleeping bags in our vehicles, as we ended up stripping the bed and laying out a blanket before putting our sleeping bags down on it. Next up, my boyfriend needed some real privacy in the bathroom, and was shocked to find out the door doesn't actually close, because the bed frame inhibits the door from closing. Hope you like an audience! *plop* There is an entire fleet of dead bugs posted up in the ceiling light. We seriously considered staying in the vehicle since we had our sleeping bags. Spend your money elsewhere, this place is not nice, I have no clue how it gets good ratings, we are disgusted.

We stayed in number 8, so my review is only about that room. We entered into a living room/all purpose room. The light switch turns on a wall fixture inside the door and an overhead light, flooding the small space with a lot of light. Thankfully there is a lamp you can turn on independantly of the other two lights, on the table to the right of the door. This table has a coffee maker on it, with two pre-filled filter packages, enough to make two cups of coffee each, two take-away cups, powdered cream and sugar. The room also has a bar-sized fridge and a microwave placed on top. There is an L-shaped wooden bench with back rest at the far corner and a wooden table in front. Presumably, no lounging will take place in this room, just drinking coffee. Meaning no couch or comfortable chairs exist in the room. The other room, to the left, has two double beds facing the bathroom and a small desk and chair with a clothing rod above it. The clothing rod had zero hangers, but when I asked at the front office, I was given three metal hangers. The rooms were freshly painted in an off white paint, the floors had a light gray faux-wood linolium on them and the bathtub tile was modern and pleasing to the eye. The water pressure was great, had good hot water in the shower, but the toilet ran at intervals, so we had to keep the bathroom door shut. The bathroom had a fan (low, in the wall above the toilet, which I have never seen before), that you could set on a timer at different intervals. There were hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels, but none in any of the rooms to hang coats, hence the request for hangers. Two pieces of artwork that did not go with each other were hung in the main room, but no artwork anywhere else. That's just my interior decorator coming out, not that it affects the functionality of the place. The towels were pristine clean, fluffy white and smelled delightful! The white sheets, also pristine. The bedspreads were a nice cream colour with a flower print and appeared, and smelled clean. I rate this motel quite high in cleanliness and comfort, but low on esthetics. But, if you are simply looking for a clean, safe place to sleep in Hope, BC, as we were, this place is perfect.

Positive: Staff was nice. Location is central. Negative: The room was dated, it was cold and it took a long time to get the room heated up to a comfortable temperature. The floor stayed very cold. Not clean enough for my standard.
