Sweet! Bakery Oakville

A small and cute bakery, they have amazing cupcakes! I had the butter tart and it was pretty good. The place can get busy at times. There's a couple chairs there so you can enjoy the view. There's also a couple nick nacks you can buy at the store front. The one staff lady didn't seem to be too happy there but maybe it was just a bad early morning for them. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

First off I want to say a huge thank you to this bakery for shooting out 24 cup cakes with notice given @12 noon. The cup cakes were a huge success and everyone loved them. From the raspberry icing to the wonderfully fluffy vanilla cup its self.. we really enjoyed them. I traveled all the way from Brampton and it was very easy to find the store. It was a wonderfully cute little shop and the inside was adorable. If I loved in the area I would definitely stop in for a coffee and a cup cake. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!!

We ordered 6 dozen mini-cupcakes as part of the sweet table for my son's wedding reception. We were impressed by all of the delicious flavours available, and so were our guests! The cupcakes were delicious and a big hit! Communication was great, and renting the cupcake stand was very convenient for us. Highly recommend!

The team at Sweet! Bakery are awesome. I picked up some cup cakes for my daughter’s first birthday a few weeks ago and they were great. On top of that they helped me with a last minute emergency. I unfortunately didn’t secure the cupcakes in my car when I grabbed them and ended up taking a turn too quickly and ruined them pretty badly. With my daughters birthday the next morning, I gave Sweet! a call and they told me to bring them back and they’ll do their best to fix them. Long story short they fixed them with a minimal charge, and I was able to get them before our party. Thank you team!

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Sweet! Bakery. We initially placed our order back in December 2021 for our sons first birthday party (Jan 8,2022). But Ontario went into lockdown on Jan 3,2022 for 2 weeks. On Jan 3, 2022 - as soon as we found out about the lockdown we emailed Ashley and explained how we have to postpone. Her response was so awful - I called her and she offered to wait 2 weeks (lockdown was 2 weeks long). She said if we want the cake after the 2 weeks we will have to pay an additional $50 on top of the 400 that we have already paid. After she argued with me on the phone I gave up and agreed because we already paid half (deposit). We eventually had our sons birthday on March 5,2022. We picked up the cake on the day of the event with no problems. Taste: It came time to serve the cake and the layer of frosting was very thick. We started giving it out and everyone started complaining that the frosting was way too sweet - we were soo embarrassed as no one wanted to eat it. The inside layers were so disappointing. We asked for 2 layers of strawberry purée in between the white cake layers. The 2 layers of strawberry were so thin - couldn’t even taste the strawberries. The cake part was extremely decadent but tasted okay. The 24 cupcakes and 24 cake pops were also too sweet due to the same frosting. Design: The design was exactly what we asked for but that was the only good thing that came out of this order. We wouldn’t feel as bad about it if the customer service was good but Ashley was extremely rude throughout the whole process. Overall way too overpriced for something that is not even close to being mediocre.

I tried this bakery and got a celebration cake from here and by the time I got the cake home a short time later, the top icing on the cake had bubbles and swelling. It seems the cupcakes get good reviews but we have never tried the cupcakes. It was surprising to see a cake that swelled and we were unsure if to eat it. I would not recommend here for a celebration cake. I see a previous review also mentioned the bubbles and swelling but didn't see that review before buying the cake.

I ordered a b’day cake for the first time and everyone loved it! (Chocolate salted caramel cake with a customized message) It was super rich and addictive! I want to try a different flavour someday soon! Thank you!!

Ordered 20 dozens of cupcakes for our simple wedding ceremony. Our guests loved the cupcakes and started messaging us for more. Lol! Thank you Sweet Bakery! We’ll surely order again.
