β β β β β If your idea of "luxury apartment rentals" includes waking up at 4 am covered in sweat because your landlord is too cheap to turn on the A/C WELL INTO JUNE, this may be the perfect place for you. Great considering its in the market, since you get to choose from dying of heat exhaustion or opening your window and not being able to sleep due to noise.
Also there are constant maintenance issues in the building, and fire alarms going off in the middle of the night (two consecutive years in a row in -40 degree weather).
To top it all off, the landlord will NOT hesitate to raise your rent more than the maximum prescribed by the LTB.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

β β β β β This is no longer a LUXURY apartment after Vertica left. When Vertica was taking care of the place, we had a security guy at the front door; there was always someone at the office; the landlord provides yearly Christmas and Thanksgiving parties with champagne and we get to chat with our neighbours, everyone was nice. The fire alarm check was once per year.
Now, no security guy(only cameras). Went to find the landlord 9 out of 10 times during office hours no one is at the office. No Christmas nor Thanksgiving gatherings. Sometimes hear dog barking (Vertica didnβt allow barking dogs, so annoying). The rent increases every year. Fire alarm has a monthly check and a quarterly check (???). The elevator was broken and they spent two whole weeks to fix it, then after a couple days the same elevator was broken again.
Overall, donβt see this as luxury apartment if you are planning to stay.

Noticable decrease in maintenance requests and the night club across the street has closed door (temporarily).
Staff is always great and ready to help.
The amenities of this building are closed like the Gym for Covid19. Roof top patio limited from 4pm to 9pm with a sign up sheet to use the BBQ. Only 10 people at a time allowed. But it isn't generally busy.
Review from 2019:
Pros: clean, good staff, and secure. Nearby most downtown attractions.
Cons: Constant distrubtion and notice to fix broken elevators, maintenance, parking cleaning, water, air condition doesn't work (they don't activate till second week of June), window cleaning, and monthly alarms. We've gotten more "sorry for your inconvenience notices" than any other building we've lived in. If you value peace and serenity, this building is not for you as it is located on party street zone. Forget about sleeping some nights as music night club is across the building.
