The atmosphere was cozy and very clean. Made my later Mother's Day Celebration perfect. Great value, even better for myself as my son and his partner paid the bill.

Somehow they make a basic avocado roll and dynamite roll taste delicious. Definitely try the Sunshine roll - it’s like no other roll - 10 Out of 10. The sushi and Torched salmon roll and Caribbean roll are also phenomenal.

The decor is cute and it really is everything you would want from a local sushi spot. So why only four stars and not five? The music. For reasons I will never know, the place has a loop of calypso remixes of songs that should never be done calypso style. It’s like the soundtrack to the elevator ride directly to hell. But everything else is perfect! Try it out and enjoy :)

We were extremely impressed with the presentation of the love boat for two that was delivered and the salmon skin roll and saba along with it. We actually requested for unique nigiri and sashimi in the loveboat and they accommodated our request! Everything was thickly sliced and very fresh. The soup and salad (with a sesame dressing) were delicious as well. The portion is well worth the price and the quality of each item we ordered was flawless. Please support this restaurant as I'm sure they will put a lot of care for your meal as they did with ours! c;

We got the sushi platter for two and the tuna tataki. Highly recommend these nigiri. The butterfish and yellowtail were some of the best I've ever had in Toronto. The unagi was meaty and flavourful and the squid was very interesting! The ponzu on the tataki was delightfully citrusy too. Even the California roll had some toasted sesame seeds for a little nice touch. Would love to try more of their torched sushi. Will be a regular here now (: What a lovely local gem!

I especially loved their shrimp tempura, it tasted like their tempura batter had its own sauce which made it taste so good. We got the combo set for two which came with 36 pieces and soup+salad for only $35. Definitely worth the price. An amazing cozy place with some of the best sushi for its price.
