★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here recently. Took a large Cabin and immediately regretted it. We're very experienced cottage renters; have done it for years, but this is absolutely the worst experience every.
If you have Arachnophobia stay away; spend our $1,600.00 on therapy.
Had SEVERAL people walk onto the property looking for a vantage point to buy other cottages on the same lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in large cottage 3 nights. The cottage is so close to the water. Just beautiful and so peaceful. Cottage is stunningly beautiful, clean and everything you need is there. Being at the water expect a few spiders and bugs, but I'll take that everyday over mice and snakes. So enjoyable to stay at a mouse free cottage. They even have a beautiful tv with satellite for a rainy night, and veggies, eggs and flowers to buy at their roadside box. We took a walk and seen all their animals and even petted the horses. We'll return again for peace, quiet, enjoyment for another break from our hectic life. Thank you Sunset. P.S. The sunsets are magical.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One stove burner not working, needs a lot of paint touch up, double mattress on a single frame, extension cords all over, dock too far from cabin, toilet so cramped between walls so not even able to wipe your bum.WON'T BE BACK

Owners are extremely friendly.
May look at coming back in summer, but a definite go to place for winter and going ice fishing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a week with family. There were 7.5 (we had a 2 year old there as well) of us staying in the last cabin right on the water. We would see the owners around the grounds regularly maintaining the property.
With only 5 cabins total on the property it you can really relax and not have to worry about loads of people being around. We have already booked again for a week next year!
Can't wait to be up there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group of fisherman have been travelling to Sunset Farms since 1986. There has usually been from 28 to 33 of us and have enjoyed excellent hospitality and fishing every year. If you have a boat there are several varieties of fish to catch, but if your just getting some R&R there is some great history, swimming, wineries and shopping within short driving distance.
