J	John Egsgard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Travelling with friends in their new RV we were involved in a terrible accident that left the RV undrivable and our group without a place to stay. As it was the last weekend in August most places were fully booked or were not willing to give us even a portion of the weekend between bookings. Until we called Jennifer at Merland Park. After explaining our situation Jennifer said she had single night openings between guest and happily welcomed us to her families resort. During our three night stay we stayed an a beautiful three bedroom cottage, a pool suite and the motel area of their resort. All rooms were clean, had all the amenities and were located in well groomed grounds at the lakeside resort. During our stay we met many people, families that told us they'd been coming to Merland Park for many years ! Certainly we will be back and highly recommend Merland Park Resort if you are travelling to the Picton area ! A big thank you to Jennifer and Kevin Lavers and their family, wonderful, friendly and kind people that take pride in their resort and it shows !

All of the staff were helpful, the grounds and cottage was well kept. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back soon. Many thanks to Kevin, Jen and the gang!

Having been to Merland Park over 10 years ago when our children were small, we knew exactly where we wanted to be as a family with our now young adult children in need of a family getaway. Merland Park has it all—water access so we could kayak or fish right from the dock, a pool so we could have some water fun, and those nightly bonfires with fellow friendly cottage renters that really helped us relax after the day’s fun. The cottage is yes, very rustic, but it had everything we needed—and AC to boot! We were also pleased to be able to bring our dog with us—when we got him 4 years ago, we KNEW where we could go for a family getaway. Thank you to our hosts, Kevin and Jennifer, for keeping this resort exactly as we hoped, while updating it with a beautiful deck to look out at the waterfront! We look forward to our next getaway at Merland Park!

It was great being greeted by Jennifer and Kevin like a family member that they haven't seen in a while. The accommodations are always clean and very comfortable. Any questions that I had were answered swiftly. Unfortunately I didn't get out fishing but l managed to visit the local microbreweries that were recommended to me. It is a beautiful area to visit. I do hope that I can get back there soon. Sitting by the water at the fire pit is a great therapy that was much needed. Thanks again to the amazing hosts.

For $75 a person we got to use a propane burner heated hut, fishing rods, minnows for bait and an underwater cam to watch the fishies! They also provided ATV transportation to the hut and taxi service if someone needed to go to the washroom. Thanks so much for checking up on us every so often and the lovely time!
C	Chris H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $75 per person to ice fish in a non insulated hut.they didn’t get us out on the ice until 9:00am. Wouldn’t bring us out minnows. Didn’t want to pick us up after fishing. We had to walk back to the car. No fish caught either. Would never go back. Cottages look old and dirty.
