★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The couple managing the camp were welcoming and very nice. The waterfront property is extremely run-down with structures and a little bridge over a ditch that are ramshackle and dangerous. The owner needs to tear-down the old structures, and clean up the water-front area. The rickety docks are dangerous. It’s a shame, as it is on the water, so the potential is there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, welcoming campground run by the friendly, knowledgeable Foster family. We love it here so much that we visited 3 times this summer & have booked for May 2020. We highly recommend County Shores for their excellent fishing, clean campgrounds & the amazing sunsets/views. Special thanks to Todd, Krista & Kurt for their helpfulness & making us feel welcome. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently stayed at County Shores. The campground was clean and looked like most sites were fairly big.
Some new docks installed but others were in really rough shape. It had a very small playground for the kids to play, there is enough room to make a bigger and better playground so if the owners are reading this….build it for the kids. There is no beach area to swim from and need to go in at the boat launch and is very weedy. The boat launch is very narrow and would be difficult to navigate the passage out to deep water in my pontoon boat that I thankfully didn’t bring this trip. Overall it’s an alright place to camp but I don’t think I’d go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 3 days in that camp site and I really enjoyed it. Todd is a sweet person. He wants you to be happy. He patrols the site at night to make sure that everyone is safe.
The site was clean and quiet. No hustle and bustle, The place was wide and open and the grass was mown and well maintained.
Make sure to bring the mosquitos repellant spray.
We slept in a tent in there. I definitely will come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a wonderful experience here with 2 other couples. The owners were very responsive when booking and put us off on our own so it was pretty private. I realize that this was based on the availability because of the time of year but kind nonetheless in fulfilling our request. The waterfront suited our needs for the time of year and our activities, fishing and kayaking. Their portable chicken coop is brilliant and a great source of entertainment. The proximity to Picton and many wineries was a real plus. Check in was great and upon checking out the owners pumped out our trailer which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back for another fall getaway
