About Whitewood Campground
Located in the heart of Whitewood at the corner of 3rd. Ave and Lalonde St. and across the street from the millenieum mural, is the community’s tribute to the brave people who gave their lives for the cause of freedom. The lovely marble statue was unvieled after World War I. The beautiful flower beds are maintained yearly by the local Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Washrooms are in need of updating
Womens showers have a plastic matting but under that mat is grunge , disgustingly unsanitary.
No seats in shower, no safety bars??
Can't believe health inspectors haven't shut it down....especially because it also services the public swimming pool..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am on day 30ish of a bike tour from Vancouver to Ottawa and this stop after Regina was a very pleasant surprise. There is very nice grass coverage for tents, it is nice and level, and the showers in particular are spacious with good water pressure and temperature - such a welcome feeling at the end of a long day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for one night on our way home. Early September, it’s too cold, only one rv in the campground. The campsites are pretty small, but is clean and well maintained. There is a community swimming pool besides, the campground. Shared showers are clean. This campground is very impressive to me, especially for a small town to maintain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A neat, well kept little campground, right beside a fantastic golf course at Whitewood, SK. There is a ball diamond, playground, splash park and a swimming pool, although the splash park and pool are closed for renovations this summer.
There are some fully serviced sites, although we found the large grassed sites with power and water really good. The sites are very well maintained, but are a bit open to any wind.
Archibald's diner is a short walk away and offers great food at affordable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a quick stop over on our cross country drive. It was clean and quiet and we had really kind neighbors. The power for the sites was a bit finicky and we had to share our power outlet with our neighbors because theirs wasn’t working. Reserved in advance through the website. The toilets were fine, I didn’t have a shower bc I’m a bit picky when it comes to showers. You also hear the trains go by as it’s close to the tracks but that didn’t bother me much. None the less, I would stop here again without hesitation.
