F	Fijian Princess on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm very disappointed. I ordered some jerk chicken with rice and peas. The chicken was dry. I can now say why my coworkers don't like coming here, saying the food sucks. I think Sunrise is loosing their touch. Their oxtail gravy is too sweet.

J	Janine James on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the sunrise Pickering location and bought a cornmeal porridge for breakfast. I was extremly disappointed with the porridge. It was watery with no flavor. And what made it worst was when I called in to policly make a complaint but was i left feeling like my opinion didn't matter and they don't care. So if your a customer that like fine tasting quality food and don't want to waste your money I would advice you NOT GO TO SUNRISE. Bad food + bad customers service! A NO GO!

I always would get the Stew Chicken meal, until they changed the menu prices and recipes. Now coleslaw isn't included with your dinner, it is extra and the stew chicken either isn't available or completely different than it originally was. A lot seemed to change with Sunrise since going main stream. I don't order stew chicken anymore, if I do go to Sunrise (which is less and less) I get the BBQ chicken, its really good. The staff/employees here are nice though too.
N	N B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ownership may have changed within the last two years or chef changed, it used to be pork free and the individuals running it were very friendly and lively. We met here for lunch recently, and the food and ambience is just average. Other SunRise restaurants in Durham Region have better flavours, pricing and ambience.
b	b z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices on ALL the items are WAY higher than other ethnic places. Ordered a red bean/beef soup. SO SO SALTY. Just ate a few spoons and threw the rest away. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Will not return.

The fried chicken was average, rice and peas ok ,but the veggie curry was a mix of frozen vegetables with no flavour whatsoever. Also the roti skin was barely edible. We were visiting Toronto and craving great weat-indian food. Looks like we will have to make another trip and it will not be back here again!!
