S	Susan Pachkowski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it was my worse experience for staying ever Any Where. It was full of mold every where you looked . Room was stinking no matter what you did . The carpet was filthy. Was suppose to have a kitchen suite had only a hot plate that took forever to get hot and no stove . Stayed 1 month the Walls are paper thin unbelievable. I left and moved to a very clean beautiful motel with a balcony waterfront which is much cheaper plus they come and clean your room very 2 weeks . At Sun Beach you had to wash our own sheets. Highly recommend do not stay there poor management. Never will see me there ever or recommend it to any one . Disgusting
T	Tanya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can see why this is rated a 2 star motel. The place looks like a dump and has a miserable old man who chain smokes as an owner. We didn't even stay here and now nor would we. We pulled in for a whole of 2 mins because we missed the turn for the washrooms right before it. Immediately he yelled and then came to our vehicle and even though I explained and said we wouldn't be a bother and would literally be gone in 2 mins, he then continued to call my husband names when he came back and be outraged by the occurance. There are bigger things in life to be upset about especially if you own a business and want to promote it and have people want to stay there. We would never recommend this place nor stay there ourselves because of this encounter and we come through often. Being kind and how you treat people goes a long way.

We stayed in room 24 and it was definitely way over priced, would have much rather stayed in the trash can in the parking lot. I definitely don’t recommend staying at this dump there is plenty of other nicer hotels in the area.

Very quiet and relaxing.. Negative: Like most motels I would like to see carpet and bed quilts gone..
M	Mike Garba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, the location of the hotel is right on the lake, the backyard patio area is a fantastic place to have a drink with plenty of seating. Wifi is fast, and good cable, rooms were clean as well. The hotel also has its own dock which is perfect if you have a boat. We’ll definitely be here again next year.
N	Nadine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Great location right on the beach easy walk to town and rattlesnake canyon. The bungalows and 2 bedroom suites face the beach and the gorgeous views. Worth spending the extra even if you don’t need 2 bedrooms. The furniture in the rooms is kitschy. But the rooms are very clean no worries or concerns there.no 2 rooms are the same Bar b q’s are available on the patio to use and work great. Patio has chairs, tables and picnic tables available great place to have dinner or a snack at lunch. The willow provides great shade on hot days. This is not the Hilton if that is your expectation then you will be disappointed but if you are looking for a clean, friendly, central motel where you can do as much or as little cooking as you want, have all the kitchen conveniences like home that honestly does have one of the best locations on the beach. Then this is the place. The managers are available and you will see them around the property. If you need something or have a question ask they will be happy to help.. Negative: Parking is tight in the lot but there is street parking. If you are looking for a lively louder time stay on the weekends. During the week is very quiet. If you are picky about pillows bring your own..
T	Teresa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Location was great, room was updated and nice. quite large and roomy. Beds were pretty comfortable. View from upper balcony (where our room was) was gorgeous.. Negative: Even though we knew of they allowed smoking it was pretty intense... probably would stay somewhere else based on just that unfortunately. you couldn't sit on the patio outside your room without breathing in a tonne of cigarette smoke. because they allow it in all open areas it tended to attract customers that do smoke so even sitting on the beach you were breathing in someones smoke :( Also the beach area was a bit small but when its not busy at the hotel its wasn't an issue for us that much..
