Highland Inn & Amusement Park

car broke down and we were looking for a cheap place to stay and this was it. great staff she went above and beyond to help us out even offering to call her local mechanic in Hope's of getting us in faster. amazing value at 90$ a night yea it isnt very fancy and doesnt have alot of ammenites or even an hd tv but the wifi worked really good for us and honestly if your giving this place a 1star review expecting it to be a 4 star hotel it's not really a valid review you get what u pay for.

Had a great night here. Staff was incredibly accommodating and treated me and my GF very well. Bed was confortable and the room was very clean. Sure its an old looking building but you can tell they are starting to put some love back into the place plus your getting a great value for the price.

Worst hotel in osoyoos, the manager was very rude and seemed unstable, the room had visible bugs the second we walked in and the floor was plywood, shower and hot water from the tap didn’t work either, I recommend finding somewhere else to stay if you have any self respect.

The rudest staff ever!! So dirty! So gross! We woke up with bug bites all over our bodies! The staff would not reimburse us. We told the manager to come look at the bugs all over our room and she refused. She did not give us our money back for the following day. We Lost our money! The manager Didn’t give us our money back for the day we didn’t stay even though the room was so dirty and had bed bugs! Which is their fault! She also kept our deposit!! I would not recommend staying there. It is disgusting filled with bugs and the hotel manger is the most disrespectful woman I have ever met!

Nothing to write home about!!! Rent and Rates keep rising while there is nothing done to update or make conditions liveable. Most rooms have no heat and why advertise apartments when that is a absolute lie. The so called master suite has no bathroom (toilet only) not clean or sanitary. The floors in most rooms are falling through literally from the old plumbing below that leak and grow mold. The mold has caused many breathing issues due to any cleaning products will cause a toxic reaction which burn your lungs to the point of hospitalization. When the floor tiles Crack and break under foot while brushing your teeth wouldn't it be best to fix the problem from scratch. My foot went through the floor with no pressure at all and it reeks of urine from broken plumbing around the toilet. Your not really peeing in the toilet when the plumbing is not attached to the sewer and the body fluids are just going straight into the ground under the motel. The sad part is the owners know the unsanitary and unsafe conditions yet with 24 hours the same room is rented out again and again with no repairs. This motel should be condemned and torn down. I believe the motel is a danger to all who live there , stay one night or one month , the motel is disgusting and the owners have no plans to update or renovate it to better standards , it's all about grabbing the cash from anyone they can. Not to mention the new so called manager who is unstable and claims to be a licensed plumber/accountant yet has not finished or even started any repairs to the motel. The only thing he does do well is finishing his bottle(s) of vodka. If that's good advertising for any place of "business " the Highland Inn is the place to provide unstable cheap labour , unsafe living conditions and unfinished repairs.

Gentleman was easy going, sure rooms could use an update. Room was clean, worked out fine for one night.

A friend mine recently stayed here and the owner and manager tried to steal his rent money for the following month and also his damage deposit. No heat in the rooms and the unit my friend was in had half a wall missing and was covered by a piece of plastic. Not to mention the stench that came from the bathroom vents that smelled like fecal matter. Horrible place.

Worse hotel ever, highly recommend not staying here. They are money grabbing scammers, there is no heat in any of the rooms, there is nothing being done about renovations, management is extremely rude. Won't return my damage deposit Even though I never damaged the room, the health inspector has been notified and I suggest everyone should inform the health department of Canada about them aswel. Don't waste your time or money on this place you will regret it.
