The staff do an exceptional job keeping my room clean between my work shifts and are really friendly and helpful when I ask for anything. I would recommend this motel for anyone that is visiting or passing through nipigon.. thanks for the great stay!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room 115....good things will have to think about that. Bad things: severely ruined carpet, stained threadbare chair, very sad comforter, 2nd bed had sideways crawl space between bed and wall, which is super ? awful when you are a senior. Will NOT stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like clean maintained motels. They don't have to be fancy. The fellow that checked me in was effecient and his wife was lovely. The room needed TLC. First the website picture was from the south side of the buildings directly north is the highway; however updated windows saved the night along with the fan (no AC) we had a decent sleep. It was generally clean but poorly maintained. The back of the doors were dirty and the chair was nasty. Two lamps one didn't work the other had a short in it. Light in the bedroom had only one bulb out of the two working and it was full of bugs. Only one light bulb in the bathroom is a late night problem waiting to happen. In general things were done but no extra effort made. Grass cut but not trimmed. Trees unpruned baseboards and walls in need of paint. We came, we slept.. well but will try another next time. I hope they get energized because it has lots going for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This motel is very clean and the price is good $109 is fine to pay. it is quiet there are all the things that a traveler needs. the back of the motel is nice and. Very well maintained there is a barbeque and a set of furniture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place was clean and the odor inside was bearable but lights didn't work and no it was not because there was no electricity in the room. Lots of bulbs missing in the light stands! No a/c that was a pretty tough one since it was pretty hot outside! And the place was absolutely far overpriced! I'd pay maybe $65 for such a place but not a $130 for 1 night! They definitely need to lower their price! The customer service was not bad either. I don't want to stay at this place again if I can just help it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tired motel in need of updating. This could be a very cute place, but it'll need some work. Looks like it's for sale, so maybe the new owners will be able to make it better. Service was good, but not what you'd call friendly.
Dog friendly - so, there's that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little pricey I paid over 128 plus taxes which is bit high for the motel of this kind I ask the old gentleman his answer was go where you get better rates that was rude of him.
Otherwise room was clean right on hwy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great stay with our dog at the Northland Motel.
Our room was very clean, well stocked, and spacious. An enormous dump of snow came overnight, but the motel owners had the entire parking lot and walkways completely clear of snow very quickly.
They only charge $20 for pets, which is very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again!
