★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They sent in a guy, surveyed my deck and gave a verbal quote. Committed to come in a week to start than phoned to say unable to make it due to family problems. OK by me so another day in the coming week. He text me says he's tied up with another job, in an incuring back log due to raining issues. Again I said OK understandable. So this drags to 3 weeks. I check the weather forcast its going to be dry coming week. I asked if you can do it & when? More lame excuses. Finally its the 4th week. Now he doesn't even reply to call or texting. I finally got the message that he's not interested. No professionalism! At least call or text that you decided not to accept job for what ever reasons which was fine by me.
This was my disappointing experience.
Be cautious if you decide to engage this contractor.
I gave 1 star only because the guy made 1 visit ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently met and asked Pho (Owner) to resurface our deck. He was very upfront that his timing was unpredictable, stating that the weather, job volume and some family health matters were influential and that I'd have to be open to a timeframe that wasn't so clear. Knowing this and our time factor, I settled in for the wait. I will say that it was well worth the wait as Pho did an excellent job with great attention to detail, something you rarely find in a larger company. Unfortunately for some, they can't or won't take the time or opportunity to trust in a smaller operation. In my case, having these people just helps me get to where I need to go with quality more quickly.
I would highly recommend Summer Valley Vinyl to anyone that asked. Thanks Pho!
