I'm a regular at the Kingsway subway, and I was having a bit of an off day. To add to my stress my lunch break was late, and I had to wait through the rush. One of the girls at subway Sara had recognized me, had my regular order done before I even got to the counter, her going out of her way to remember what I like helped me to have a good lunch break and quite literally saved my day! Best service I've ever recieved from anywhere at kingsway.

There was an elderly man who walked up to the till to order a sandwich and the lady looked at him and in the rudest tone said β€œthere’s a sign right there” because he didn’t know where to stand to order a sandwich... so rude and uncalled for and it blew my mind someone could be so miserable. Treat others how you want to be treated!!

Ignorant staff overcharged me even after I told them they were billing me for the wrong sub. Dona served me and was rude. I ordered a salami sub as I had hundreds of times and she charged me for a more expensive pizza sub. Got rude and ignorant when I pointed it out. Will never eat here again.

I love subway and as a gluten sensitive customer was excited to have a gluten free option that subway is usually really good about. The people here did nothing to be cautious of my sensitivity and continued to handle other food while still making my sandwich. Yes I know it isn’t always fun to deal with a food sensitive customer but I am now left with a sandwich I couldn’t eat. I understand they aren’t ever completely gluten free but watching them restock cookies and then basically dust the crumbs off over my sandwich? Not happy.

Very bad service, no friendly customer service, while I was ordering I heard two employees complaining about one of the customers orders who was before me, and was given very judgemental looks when I asked for more toppings and dressing. The end result of the sandwhich is disappointing to say the very least. The picture below is what my sub looked like as soon as I opened the wrapping to my sandwhich, it was thrown together and a mess, while I was trying to eat my toppings were falling out and there was mayo everywhere on the paper.

The subway staff are good at making sandwiches. But the quality of the sandwich and quantity have is no longer what it used to be. Buns are thinner and shorter there is less in the sandwich but the price has gone up. The value is no longer there. Not worth going anymore.
